Overall disappointed with the experience. Nothing objectively horrible, but the quoting experience I had trouble getting a call back and when I did speak with them I felt like they were disinterested with my personal needs. I will stay with my current carrier.

*Edit* the reply back from the company insinuated I had a poor record. I have not had an accident in over 10 years nor any tickets in my life. I have also had insurance since the day I started driving. Please do not blame me for your poor service.

I tried to update my policy for 1 week. I gave up and got insurance from another company in 15 min. I sent several emails, never turn back. I called several times and no one knows what to do? Non professional. Stay away.

After some initial issues around confirming whether Firehouse has a local office or not (their website stated that they do), we were able to work with Landon to get our policies reviewed and Firehouse was able to get us better coverage at a much lower cost than what we had previously through another national brand. We haven't had to submit any claims yet (and hope we never do), but Landon has assured us that he will help us through the process if it does happen.

Jon F was very easy to work with and a great resource. He made sure to get us the best options in a timely manner and ended up saving us over $500 / year. Firehouse and Jon should be who you go to for your insurance needs.

Incompetent and Inept.

I've had home insurance for 6 weeks out of 6 months.

The 1st insurance they set up spontaneously dropped us after doing an external photo review (I won't fault them for that).

However, the 2nd one they forgot to set up the escrow account payments, which the insurance company said the agent had to do.

After 4 months I still don't have insurance.

I call and text the owner frequently, who provides me false reassurance and does nothing, only for me to call again the next week.

They act surprised and confused each time, telling me their writing up another quote and looking for potential insurance companies for coverage, but nothing happens, week after week, month after month. Nothing but false reassurance and incompetence.

The 1st company just reached out to me to inform me of an uncashed check for the $1,000 I gave them for 1 year of coverage in March (which this agent told me would be deposited back into my escrow account.apparently not).

The 2nd company I still owe $150 because they still haven't paid them from my escrow.

If you're looking to have insurance companies spontaneously drop you due to an incompetent agent that doesn't do the tasks they claimed to have done and have no coverage for your home for months on end, only to get bills from companies that covered you for brief intervals of time then look no further!

FYI our home passed inspection with flying colors, built in 2007, new HVAC, remodeled last year, quoted at 1/3rd of the price they are finding now, after months of sparce communication at best, so don't think this is a one off negative review.

I like Chelsea as a person, but not as an agent.

You're better off going with a large company that offers cheaper coverage and will fight you for claims because at least you'll have coverage.

Above & beyond. They go the Xtra mile on the daily. I trust and refer anyone looking for insurance needs to Vinny at Firehouse Insurance. They do great things for the community, and are just really good people. 10+ Highly recommend them.

I'm very disappointment in this insurance company, especially since a good friend recommended this company to me. I wish I could give a great review. Without any warning that I can find, my home insurance was cancelled. I only found this out when my mortgage company alerted me of this problem. At first I thought this must be some kind of mistake, so I called Firehouse Insurance and left a message. Waited a few days, then called again. I'm yet to receive a call back from Vinny or an insurance rep. It is only good business to let your customer know that you are cancelling their policy. This is very unprofessional.

Fantastic insurance company, I was really impressed by their responsiveness and how easy it is to get things done with Firehouse. Huge fan. Just sold my last property in their service area, wish they also operated in California because I would move all my stuff over to Firehouse in a heartbeat. Very solid shop!
