A place that is so welcoming and makes you feel safe and at home. My family and I have no desire to look anywhere else. Great choice of Wednesday night Adult classes and awana for kids. The pastor is amazing, he speaks in a way anyone can relate to. They have 2 locations now. They also work great w their community and the school system. Security for the children's center. Amazing!

Started out as a great church, however, issues came when an influx of people from two other struggling churches came over. It became clear why those churches were struggling as those people brought their bitterness, gossiping, and baggage with them.
Then leadership also took a shift that led to the church becoming business minded. It’s more about the business than the people, though they’ll try to tell you different.
It’s a great place for a person that wants to live out a life of advertising their “faith, ” but not for someone that wants true fellowship with genuine believers.

First Light Church has incredible pastors and leaders who labor in the gospel together. I truly love the leaders of this church, and I am so thankful for the impact they've made on me, my family, and my own church plant.

The church is full of incredible people with engaging stories and backgrounds of every kind — however, the church itself is going through what I feel is a tough period of change and shifting; only wisdom and time will tell.

Update: The church has lost a significant number of devoted members due to the shifting nature of the church's intentions. It's handled more like a business than a community of believers, and the leadership tends to lean more towards yes-men, my-way-or-the-highway sort of direction. The people are good people, but be careful here.
