First Watch, Orange OH

This was our first time at this location. The staff and food are as great as the Macedonia and Cleveland Heights locations. Update 4-24-22. I don't know if reservations are now required for all First Watch locations or just the Pinecrest location, but in the last two weeks we had estimated wait times if one to one and a half hours. (Maybe because it's the weekend, but I seen the same number of people on weekdays). I will call to see if you need to call ahead on the weekend.

Great food, and awesome service. Everyone was friendly and attentive. Wholesome simple breakfast, and you can really taste each individual ingredient.

Rude service! I called to ask about takeout and the lady there said no and when I went to ask a question she hung up on me knowing I was talking. That’s so sad. I really love coming to have breakfast but that was upsetting.

Placed an order online for pick up; food was 20 min late and wasn't even done correctly. Will not recommend coming here. Front staff wasn't nice either.

Definitely a step up from Panera. Great selections, and delicious. Typically there's a line to order, which is a good sign.

My friends and I visited First Watch 5/14/22 Pinecrest the service was awful, server is so slow it is ridiculous. We sat at 1030 and we didn'receiveour meal until 1150. I will NEVER, NEVER, EVER EVER COME HERE EVER AGAIN.

Ordered offline and they forgot half of my items. After waiting for a long time I finally got someone on the phone and was directed to three different people, the Gm was a little rude to me I guess because they were busy. This is my second time dealing with this location and it will be my last.

The cook got lazy with the eggs. It's simple, mix and then cook. Instead, the cook started cooking the eggs sunny side and then started mixing. If Waffle House can handle this, then a "finer" establishment should insist on it. The rest of the meal was fine and our waitress was professional. Note: In the photo, I added Ketchup to the eggs so I could eat them.

Good food and good service.
I came to Orange Village to visit a store but the cold wind turned me around. I found myself at First Watch, hoping to find some good coffee. What I found was a good breakfast. I had the Crab Cake Benedict. While I wasn't a fan of the bread it was served, I did enjoy the rest of the dish. While I was paying the cashier asked me how I liked the Crab Cake Benedict and told me most people send that dish back. That is likely due to the fish flavor of the crab cake. While I did enjoy it, I'm almost certain there was no crab in it. Crab is sweet, the crab cake on the other hand was pretty fishy. Service wasn't lacking but it certainly wasn't special.
The coffee was pure disappointment. I think an establishment like this should server espresso drinks; they don't. The coffee they serve is hot and caffeinated; if that's all you require. It may be good diluted with milk and full of sugar but it is bitter when consumed black.
I'd probably come back, after I've had my morning coffee.

This is one of my favorite breakfast spots! The food is great and I love the seasonal specials they offer. One of the small things that make a huge difference is the creamer. They offer the flavored cream for coffee and it's the icing on the cake!

The food may be good but I never had a chance to experience it since they ran out of what I came there to order. (2 stars) because I called in advance to see if they had an item on their menu prior to my arrival, they said they did. When I sat to have my order taken they told me they actually never had that item to begin with. Honest waste of time, may visit another time…

Stopped on 2/12 on way to Cleveland home show with another couple. My wife had kale tonic to drink. The waiter spilled whole glass on my lap and my wife’s sweater. He offered to pay half of our meal. Told him he should pay for all. Got manager involved and they did pay for all. We ordered after 15 minute clean up. Everyone got there order but me. Keep telling me it was coming right up. Finally got it after everyone else had finished. I’ve eaten at first watch in Raleigh N. C. Hersey P. A. This by far the worst. Stay away!

First time experience and it was amazing! Food was fresh, perfect temperature and the drinks amazing. I wish my brunch with my sister was earlier (it was practically closing time) so I could try everything on the menu. I went with my pick eaters and they ate every bite.

Great restaurant, great non red meat eater alternatives, our server was awesome and attentive even with a crowded restaurant. The food was awesome because you get pretty big portions for a nice price! Will definitely be visiting again!

Food is fine, cooks are slow. Not managed well.

Hit or miss how quickly you can get seated. This size restaurant could easily be served by 3-4 waiters. Even with 3 today they could barely manage 25% of the seats. (See photos)

Service is good as far as the wait staff.

Cooks- 2 stars for speed. Took 40 minutes to get our food after placing an order.

The plating is extremely slow and/or inconsistent. The table next to us got their food 10 mins apart from each other. When our came out it was another 10 min each. My partner felt bad about being halfway through her food while I was just sitting there on our second pot of coffee.

All the while we saw that they kept at least 3 to-go orders ready by the door at all times. Dine in is second priority to moblie orders.

The waitress said they only had two cooks. I've worked short order and 2 cooks should be plenty to feed 4 people in less than 20 minutes.

As we were cashing out, one of the cooks kept staring me down like he was going to do something.

This place is like a pretty Dennys without the good management and fast service.

Excellent food, horrible atmosphere. We ate there during a weekday at about 9: 00 AM. Typical 21st century restaurant decor with bare floors and exposed HVAC in the ceiling. From every moment after entering, the noisy din was extreme. I had to shout to my wife across the small table for her to hear me. I'd give the food an A but the ambience an F. It was a terrible experience, and I will never eat there again.

I guess you have to eat in, to get what you order. First Watch never put my extra in my foods, and they charge me for it. Plus they is too pricey. Its Bob Evans for me.

Nice atmosphere and the wait staff were OK. Wasn’t impressed with their food. The omelettes eggs were over cooked while the insides were cool. This was the second time we dined there. The first time we weren’t impressed with the food either.

The food was very tasty.will definitely come back! So loved the Carrot Cake and Pecan Pancakes. I? Follow dcgirlfoodie on IG.

The food is always tasty, though I find the breakfast potatoes a bit bland. I prefer them crispy, like tater tots or hash brown patties. The other thing that's a disappointment is serving coffee creamer in those awful mini plastic cups - just adding to the world plastics apocalypse - and they don't even taste as good as regular half and half out of a normal carton.
