First Watch - Fairlawn reviews
17Saturday morning 10: 25 I expected to wait for a table but was pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. And then I waited. A couple were seated next to me 5 minutes later and they were waited on fairly quickly, as I am just sitting there thinking that if the server walks away and puts their order in before she takes mine I am leaving. She did not. I did politely let her know that I had been there before the couple, and that a ten minute wait time was a bit to long. I ordered the Works omelet and it was just as delicious as it always is. The server was very attentive. I can only assume that the hostesses did not inform the server that I was there first. My issue is with the hostesses, yes there were 2. And the other staff members that were hanging around the hostess station shooting the breeze made it difficult for them to run the front of the house in an orderly fashion.
This First Watch doesn't look as nice as the one in Cuyahoga Falls, but the food tastes better. So you have to ask yourself where your priorities lie. It's the kind of dilemma that you don't mind having though because it's not like this First Watch doesn't look good, and it's not like the Falls one has bad food. They're just better at different things. So flip a coin and you'll be happy either way. Also.the Kale Tonic is straight
First watch is one of our personal favorites! Always exceptional service and delicious food. We also love all of the healthier options available as opposed to most other breakfast places.
Service was slow, we arrived with the restaurant with no wait, we asked for a table of 5 and specifically a table because we are large people. The told us 5-10 minutes for our table. We expected to wait but not for an hour. During that time they ended up on a 20-25 minute wait, and I think they simply forgot about us even though we kept checking with them. Move on to service, we asked for 2 cranberry orange muffins, 20 minutes later she comes back with one and then offers us one. Whatever I know they are good and sell quickly that's why I ordered it. After the muffin incident we didn't see her again until she dropped the check. I asked the hostess for more coffee, she said she'd tell our server, I asked another server for some more coffee, but by then we were just ready to leave. Service was a miss, but the food was outstanding. Won't deter us from returning, unless it becomes habitual. I suggest you eat here and have the Farmhouse tacos. Also secret hint, get a side of black beans they are fantastic!
1st time to a First Watch. Met two buddies for breakfast. Very busy, but we were able to get a table at 8: 30 am on a Sat. Filled up fast. Attentive staff. Food was a little slow but reasonable since I was chatting with friends. Food was good. Two eggs over easy, and hashbrowns. I recommend this place.
I came here one morning with a large group of people they had no problem seating us which was nice it's mildly pricey but the food is fantastic and the staff is plenty friendly I will definitely be back again sometime soon they also had plenty of food selection which was nice in most cases even the pickiest of people can find something on this menu the only thing I'd recommend is when it comes to large groups call ahead but that should be a common courtesy just about anywhere you go
Always have the best tasting food here. Can’t beat it for breakfast food! I think the prep at the Cuyahoga Falls location is just a notch above this location.
Prices are high here, Yet the quality is reflected in the food. You can’t go wrong with just about anything you order here! Food is delicious!
Most incredible FW I’ve been to. The maitre d David, was a distinguished gentleman and very friendly. Food was fast and fantastic clearly prepared by very talented chefs. Service was impeccable. My daughter ate 6 pieces of their delicious bacon. It’s her favorite. Thank you!
Always good experience; warm friendly and professional service. This is my favorite breakfast spot. I love the farm fresh, organic menu.
We were seated within 5 minutes. Coffee was brought right away. The pancakes were delicious. I really enjoyed my breakfast, as did my friends.
For a chain restaurant, this is about as good as breakfast can get. Staff is usually friendly and the food is always good. The take out coffee is clutch as well. Order the hash browns crispy!
Great, healthy food chain. It's great that they've implemented an advanced wait list system, as they can get very busy in the mornings.
The food quality is always good and fresh. There are many nutritional options. The prices are not bad. Service is always solid. If you go on a weekend, expect a wait, it is worth it though.
Very good healthy option of Biscuits & Gravy potatoes and eggs with BlackBerry tea. Yes there was a wait which would've definitely been worth it! However, the large Community Table worked out perfect for me and another group who didn't want to wait 20 minutes on a busy Sunday after-morning. Staff was very busy and remained attentive and friendly! I will be back for sure!
Great spot to grab a fresh and healthy brunch on the weekends. The wait can get long if you come to late, but they turn tables over pretty quick
I love the farm to table style atmosphere. The food is wonderful. I highly recommend the kale tonic!
