Fishers Foods reviews
13Like the deli meat and cheese when they have a good sale price. Regular price is not good.
Only place in Ohio to get Connecuh brand sausage links. Nice find for a displaced Southerner.
Local, family owned business, founded in Canton, Ohio. Fresh meats and produce. For those of us on a budget, make sure to check the weekly savings flyers. This week alone, I saved almost $14.00 off my weekly grocery bill. They also give points based on how much you spend, and that also gets deducted from your weekly shopping (or how often you shop) A savvy shopper can knock a lot from their grocery budget. With inflation hitting all of us, every penny counts!
Love the deli here. Hope they don’t go out of business like the other Fishers have because of the big box stores
My family has shopped at Fishers for the past twenty years and after today I am not sure if I want to go back. Not sure if he was a manager or not but Mike on the register was extremely rude and vile. Yelled out loud that a customer would have to wait for a money order, instead of saying, “ we will be right with you. ” He seemed annoyed at everything, and yelled at the other workers for codes for produce in the meanest voice possible. Not very professional at all. I feel bad for the other employees that have to work with him. Fishers you were once a decent store, what happened?
Fisher's Foods has always been a great place to do your grocery shopping. They have quality meats and real butter!
I'VE BEEN SHOPPING AT FISHER FOODS, MOST OF MY LIFE, WENT THERE TODAY TO GET GREEN BEANS THAT WAS ON SALE, I WAS KINDA IN A HURRY SOME MY FRIEND PICKED UP MY GREEN BEANS, THEY WERE SPOILED, WHEN I GOT HOME AND LOOKED AT THEM, I ASKED MY FRIEND TO KINDLY RETURN FOR MORE GREEN BEANS, AND HE WAS TOLD TO RETURN AFTER 4: 00 PM BECAUSE NO BODY KNOWS HOW TO DO A RETURN. I GUESS ANOTHER GIRL WAS COMMING IN AT 4: 00 PM. NO WONDER FISHER FOODS IS DOING SO POORLY, THE NEW FISHER FAMILY MUST NOT CARE, LIKE THE OLDER MR FISHER DID, THEN HIS SON JEFF TOOK OVER, FISHER FOODS WAS A TRADEMARK IN CANTON OHIO. HOW SAD IT IS TODAY. A X SHOPPER
Always shop local and I am a huge supporter of that and a friend to Alex Fisher. They have a wonderful deli selection and hot foods, also the wine choices are wisely selected! Only complaint is to fix the temperature in the building on tusc! It feels like a freezer in there and your employees need to be appreciated! Love ya
We love Fishers. It's a nice, clean, well cared for and family type smaller grocery store. I recommend giving it a try. Good deli, great cookies in the bakery and ready to eat foods.
Extremely disappointed. I use to love there hot food and deli.the last few times i have been there.it has been nothing good.old dried up hot bar at 330pm? And multiple price stickers reading old specials and when brought to the cashiers attention they had serious attitude problems and were unwilling to offer help or direction to resolve the wrong prices. I'm not sure I will continue to shop there which is upsetting.love the fish and bowtie pasta salad but not worth the inconvenience or hassle or the attitude at this point
Good choices but prices are higher because they must compete with the chains that suck. Please go to your local stores and help your community!
This place needs to be reported to the health department. Where do I even begin? The kind of people that work here don’t have any sense of cleanliness or basic intelligence. It is scary to shop here. The building is in shambles; dirt, grime, leaks, stains, electric problems, etc. The people at the deli have been seen eating the food with their fingers and then handling the public food. The person at the bakery didn’t tie my bread and the bread went everywhere on the conveyer belt. The cashier didn’t get me a new one and gave me 59 cents off off. So, the cashier will let your food touch the dirty belt and then give you a discount on dirty food. The food and produce is always over priced and rotten. SUCH HIGH PRICES and for garbage. Only people that shop here are elderly folk who still think that they’re getting their monies worth somehow, must be the dementia.
Just left this store. I was putting my grocery in my cart after cashier rung up and bagged my order. I was the first customer at the register. There was a male employee came up saw me putting my grocery in the cart. This employee went right pass me to help the next register that came after I did. Not very professional.
