Jim tore down paneling and installed drywall for our entire basement. He also built a closet for us. We are very happy with the job he did. When we decided we wanted the original closet changed, he changed it without complaint. He was very detailed about the job he was going to do and why he was going to do things certain ways. He was very responsive whenever we called him with questions and always wanted to do what he could to help with whatever we needed. We will definitely call him if we need more work done in the future.

I had taken on a project of framing and furring out my entry way / sun room that used to be a covered porch. Two of the walls are cinderblock, another is a framed wall of 5 side by side windows and the other was a French door. I insulated the entire room with foam board and once I was at the point of drywalling, I quickly realized after I had hung 4 sheets that I was probably over my head with how my amateur finished drywall work was going to look. So I decided to get a professional estimate.

The Estimate - Flawless Finish was the first company that I called based on their reviews and the owner, Jim Ogles, came out promptly to provide an estimate. He immediately brought to my attention the possible issues I could have with the room not being a climate controlled room and also pointed out other areas of concern like the need for extended door jams, tear away strips around the windows and using exterior grade paint due to it not being a climate controlled room. He offered advice and instruction on how to finish the room if I chose to proceed on my own. Lastly he gave me a verbal estimate on the spot and before leaving and urged me to get other estimates before making a decision. I took his advice on getting another estimate and chose another highly rated company. I decided not to share any of the information Jim had concerns with to see if they also identified these same issues. Not only did they not mention any of them, they emailed their estimate 5 days later and it was far more than what Jim had quoted. I found Jim to be genuinely honest and extremely knowledgeable. He also didn't ask for any money down before starting the work and only took payment upon completion of the job and only with knowing that I was completely satisfied with his work.

The Work - Jim had his team out the very next week. They were on time and called 30 minutes prior to arrival each visit to let me know when they would be here. Jim and all of his crew are professional, courteous and take the time to communicate everything they'll be doing each day as well as go over everything they did at the end of each day. Even though I hadn't had my floor installed yet, they took the time to cover the painted slab to minimize the dust. When they left each day they cleaned up the work area or asked if it was ok to leave supplies and tools if they needed it here for the next day's work. This job also entailed working around a new floor installation. When Jim and his team came back the next day after the floor was installed, they again carefully covered the new floor so as not to cause any damage. On a day towards the end of the job when he had Scott doing some final sanding and caulking, he had Scott run to the paint store and primer the entire room for us even though painting was not included in the estimate. This was a total surprise for my wife and I and we were really pleased with his willingness to do this for us. The team finished up their work on time and in the exact number of days Jim had communicated.

On the last day, Jim went another extra mile and fabricated and installed an extended door jam for our French doors. During this visit while he worked I took the time to have a long chat with him and let him know how much we appreciated his commitment, quality of work and work ethic. Jim is a throw back to the days when a person gave you their word on a hand shake and then followed through with the results. Not only following through with what the job entailed, but doing it with a quality workmanship and with a genuine concern for his customer's needs. Bottom line, he does things the right way. Jim and his crew are fantastic and I highly recommend Flawless Finish!

Jim and his crew were wonderful and easy to work with — they fit us into their schedule within a week and finished mudding, taping, sanding, and painting our 1200sqft basement a week later! The walls all look fantastic. The price was exceptional for the amount of work they did. I highly recommend them!

I opted to finish drywall my basement myself after discovering the cost from various companies, but when I spoke with Jim about this he took the time to discuss the proper way to finish and his tips and tricks. He went into great deal to explain products and techniques to utilize to have the best finish product. He was absolutely awesome to do that when he didn't have to and I would recommend them to anyone!

There are not enough stars available to give a true review! From start to finish this company was AMAZING! The boss man Jim is PHENOMENAL. The employees were nothing short of AMAZING. I hope to do business again in the future with this company should it arise for us to need to do so! They're punctual and efficient! They listened to a T to what I asked for.

Works hard, quickly and neatly (early morning and late at night!). Dry wall and ceiling work look great.

We had a full house restoration project and Jim brought his crew in on time, on schedule, and at the agreed-upon price. The work included dealing with 100+ year-old structural issues, and it came out great. They did what they said they would do, and we couldn't be happier.
