Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar, Akron OH

This is one of our favorites. Awesome service from Holly, Wonderful food (filet and king crab special). They always treat you like royalty.

Excellent steakhouse. A little on the pricey side like any good top end steakhouse, but worth the $$

Food is too expensive. Doesn't worth the money they charge. For four mills with four drinks and 15 percent tip, I paid $440. Unacceptable. Will not go again, actually never.

My first time here. Service was great. Ambiance was OK except for the odd 80s-90's pop music that was much too loud. Food was good but EXTREMELY salty. Quality of steak was very good, but scalloped potatoes and steak both much too salty. Literally had a dry mouth all the way home. If I went back, I would ask that they didnt salt the steak. This was probably a 3.5 experience, but that is not an option. To give you an idea of cost, there were 3 of us, 2 had surf and turf special, 1 had a filet, 2 sides, 1 salad (in addition to the specials), 3 drinks, and 1 desert (in addition to what was included in the surf and turf) : Bill plus tip was about 400.00

Update: bumped my review to a 4 (previously 3) for the customer care provided. Management reached out to me and seemed to really care.

Update 2: Went back on Valentine's Day 2023 using the gift card provided by the manager. It was terrible. AGAIN. Texas Roadhouse has a better steak. They comped our entire meal AGAIN. We gave our complimentary gift card to a couple having an anniversary (we won't be back). Hope their food was better than ours.

I have never been served a chilled fork with my salad! The service was spectacular. The Tomahawk steak.stupendous. The entire night was worthy of a 43rd anniversary celebration. Thank you Flemings for a wonderful night.

Top Notch. My wife and I went here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed. The service and attention given to us was amazing. Staff was focused on perfection of every little detail and were very kind. They even gave us an anniversary card. They have a great wine list with recommendations from the bar manager. My filet mignon topped with poached lobster truffles was juicy and cooked to perfection. I'd also recommend the Flemings potatoes.yummy. If you are in the Akron/Canton/Medina area, this place is without a doubt worth a visit.

The Taste For Twosday 35 Oz. Tomahawk steak was great! The sides were average, and the Creme Brule for dessert was great!

We went here for the first time on a date night. We have been married for over ten years and try to have date nights. We were blown away by the awesome service from the start. Walked right in and told them our name. We were taken right to our nice corner table. Our server came out with some great bread and cheese spread. Drinks were ordered and came in a great timely manner. We loved being able to take our time with each course. Never felt rushed at all. The food was very, very good. Steak was cooked perfectly. Melts right in your mouth. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to truly enjoy a fabulous time.

Wow. Just come to Fleming’s for your dining needs! Came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday and the service and food FANTASTIC! The service was out of this world. Our server was Michael and he was so awesome and personable, and made sure to continuously check on us. We received a complimentary photo and our friend received homemade complimentary truffles for his birthday.

The steak was incredible, chewy, and flavor-filled and the desserts were heaven! We drove almost an hour to eat here and it was so worth it! Would recommend this place to anyone!

I had a fish entree (seabass) and it was incredible. Sides tasted great and drinks came out efficiently. Sophia was amazing and ensured we had a great dinner. I'll definitely be back and will be asking for Sophia again.

The food was expensive and terrible. I wouldn’t have minded spending the money if the food was good. I’ve had way better food at places like Outback or Texas Roadhouse. The steak was undercooked and under seasoned. And it just didn’t taste like a good cut of meat. It is hard to mess up a steak, but they managed it. If you are going to charge $50 something dollars for one little steak, it had better be the best steak I’ve ever eaten, but it was one of the worst. The mushrooms tasted awful, and I love mushrooms. There was nothing to drink except water or alcohol. The only decent thing I ate was the creamed corn. I would never ever go back and would never recommend it to anyone. Just go somewhere cheaper and spend your money on something that actually tastes good. If Chef Ramsey ever visited your restaurant, he would call you a bunch of donkeys and walk out.

I took my fiancé here for dinner after getting engaged and we're so glad that I chose Flemings for the place to celebrate! I had high expectations for the food and service and they were exceeded! We had some of the best cuisine that we've had at any fine dining restaurant anywhere while having exceptional service from our server, Jordan. She was very kind and answered all of our questions and was very attentive. The manager also checked on us and we were provided with complimentary champagne, a photo, and chocolate truffles. These little touches we much appreciated and made for an extra special night. We will definitely be coming back!

We just enjoyed a fabulous gourmet dinner that included delicious calamari, lobster, filet mignon, flash fried Brussels sprouts and crème brulée. Thank you to the chef and our gracious server Michael!

We went here for our anniversary on a whim because the restaurant we had planned to go to was closed for renovation. We were blown away! The atmosphere was lovely, warm, and inviting. Our waitress was kind, funny and knew her wines. The food was divine. We ordered the 35oz tomahawk steak and it melted in your mouth like butter, my husband ordered the lobster bisque and macaroni and cheese and both were excellent. My asparagus and Caesar salad were superb. Dessert was almost too much for my husband (he had the chocolate lava cake) but he is predisposed to food comas. All in all the entire experience was lovely, we will certainly be coming back! Cheers to Fleming's!

The food was very good, but like all fancy places, overpriced. Service was good, but not exceptional. Part of the attraction is the decor.

The staff was fantastic however the food was lackluster. I went to this establishment for a graduation party and we were the only party there before they opened at 4. What's interesting is that the steak wasn't as good as the salmon even though they're known to be a steakhouse. Maybe I'm just used to my stakes being pre-ordered but the steak texture wise tastes the same as an O'Charley's steak. The salmon was phenomenal and the crab cakes. There was some food that felt under seasoned like the cauliflower steak dish. It also took about 30-45 to receive the starter course of either salad or. Then again they could just be busy however again this was only a graduation party of twenty and we were the only ones in the establishment. This was my first time ever experiencing Fleming's prime steakhouse. I could possibly go at a different time but I don't think I would come back anytime soon.
