Flotsam Games and collectibles reviews
17Lots of stuff the other stores do not have. Good prices on some things. A little high on others but I feel it all equals out compared to the big store
The owner is very kind. It's a great place to shop for retro and newer games, as well as trading cards and comic books.
The worker didn’t greet my boyfriend and I (We are people of color, my boyfriend is light-skin and I’m asian). We didn’t think much of it and just shrugged it off. Then my boyfriend asks the worker a question and wanted to know where the shop gets it inventory. The worker replied rudely with no positive customer service, “all trade-ins”. We started to get bothered because we didn’t cause any issues and was just simply being new customers, but we felt we were being racially mistreated. Then a few minutes later a family (that isn’t a minority) walks in and the worker greets them happily with “Hey, how you guys doing? ”. So we just put away our things that we were gonna buy and left because that was definitely not right. It’s 2023, I still feel scared to be out in public.
This is a wonderful Hidden Gem! Prices are reasonable and the guy who runs the place is really nice.
One of the best little game shops! My Wife and I visit here frequently, though not as often as we'd like. Small, but has a large selection, and a comfortable atmosphere.
If you'd like to be teleported back to your childhood, then look no further than Flotsam. The owner here has everything your 11 year old soul needs, and probably doesn't need. For a reasonable price, Brad, the owner, will sell you a bit of nostalgia, or perhaps that one hidden gem you've been looking for to complete your collection. They have oh so much more than games! Action figures, movies, comics, toys, you name it. If it's in your memory, he has it!
This place is awesome! It really took me back to my childhood. I was very impressed with the selection, and the wall of funkos was a dream. Everything is priced reasonably as well. Great store!
Good selection of equipment. Great pricing on disc only games! Guy was nice enough to let me in near closing time and I walked out very happy. Close to home so I'll definitely be coming back soon
This place has apparently been here for like 5 years, I had no idea. Largest stock of valuable and neat Pokemon cards in the greater Toledo area for sure. There are other gaming and gaming culture things here of interest as well. I went in to sell some Pokemon cards and instead purchased some. The stock is honestly impressive. You should visit!
Best store ever I found my childhood board game hero quest there in good condition and felt like I found gold when I found it
Very large selection on games for all game systems, also game systems, lots of collectibles too, very knowledgeable and friendly owner.
The variety of video games and nerd merchandise is undisputedly the best I’ve seen in the Toledo area by far. Reasonable prices wish they had more MTG but doesn’t change my view on the store.
Tons of PS2 and Xbox 360 games. So many WoTC Pokemon cards. Best selection I've seen locally.
Owner was friendly. He has a nice selection of used games, game systems and is reasonably priced.
Got my DS lite there and to this day I don't regret it. I'm surprised this place hasn't Toped GameStop yet
He said he had free comics in his truck but when we got to his truck he threw me in the back and started to touch me
