Flying Pizza reviews
23Tried this place before with a friend and I am obsessed since then. I like the great ambience and delightful food and beverages. Keep up the good work.
Best meatball sandwich, meatballs and sauce are made in house, proprietary recipe! Great pizza. Fast efficient service. Great place to eat or Carryout! Staff is awesome!
As always the pizza is great. I applaud their actions to protect their customers and employees. Well done.
Walked in and some old guy in regular clothes was behind the counter. Don’t know if he was the owner or what - asked for my order. As I was giving it to him (a couple slices of pizza and a drink), he walked away. Didn’t say anything. Didn’t even acknowledge my presence. Two other workers were there. Neither of them bothered to ask my order. I stood there a good five minutes before I left.
Flying pizza is good pizza but I’m not coming back here. They need to learn some basic customer service. If I want to get ignored, I can stay at home and ask my kids to clean their rooms.
Don’t bother with this place. They obviously don’t need customers.
Best NY style pizza I’ve had in a long time, and you can’t beat the price! I found my new pizza spot.
NY style thin crust pizza! Dough is somewhat chewy, I think because it is par baked and then reheated with your toppings in the pizza oven. It's good but I still like Marion's better.
Brooklyn hometown brought to Dayton. We've been coming here for years. Love the pies and they truly are New Yorkers! Family owned and operated. Good people. Hard workers.
If you live here and haven't tried it: don't let another day go by.
If you're visiting? Grab this local staple!
I still need to try their calzone's but pizza is excellent. From the nice airy crisp crust to the classic New York style size slices. Yummy
Completely obsessed with their breadsticks with cheese sauce and hand tossed cheese pizza. Delicious.
Decent pizza, and since the owner is from NY he'll give you the authentic NY treatment of treating you like garbage and ignoring your order. It's just like being home.
Have eaten Flying Pizza since I was young. The best pizza, to me, is the plain cheese hand tossed! Simple and delicious!
Stumbled on to this place and pleasantly surprised. Great pizza. Great service. What it lacks in ambiance it makes up for with great staff and great pizza!
How is this place 4 stars?
Pizza is plain, mediocre at best.
The bead sticks had no flavor very plain.
I don't usually post one star.
Been going there for 35 years and for all that time the product has been consistant - and consistantly great! Don't like the seating inside but soooooo good as take-away.
Had an italian sausage sandwich with cheese, peppers and onions on a sub roll. It came with marinara sauce on the side. Pretty good!
In my lifetime, definitely in my top 5 best pizza's ever. Have been eating there for 30 yrs, I think, man I'm old, and whether a slice or whole pie it's always great and Anthony in c-ville is always as nice as could be. Kudos, Flying Pizza, you should give other small businesses lessons.
Good NY style pizza! Thin crust, great sauce. They sell by the slice. And when they prepare the crust, they toss it in the air - hence the name.
Authentic New York pizza - even better than you can find in New York these days! Fun to watch them throw the dough in the air as they make it, and soooo delicious! Slices are served Neapolitan (my favorite - fold and eat!) or Sicilian (thick crust, served in squares). Lunch specials are reasonably priced, and there isn't a bad thing on the menu. Highly recommended!
Centerville location is terrible. Rude workers, pizza is inferior to all other locations the best by far is downtown. If you go to the Centerville one you are experiencing a terrible excuse for this great pizza that you can get downtown. Period. Been writing at that location for two decades always arrange Centreville is horrible.
