Flynn's Tire & Auto Service - Dover

We had to find a tire shop due to a tire losing air fast. We are not from the area. We were on our way to our kid’s wrestling tournament that was still a 90 minute drive away. Jim and the staff at Flynn’s were already very welcoming but when they heard our situation they rushed our tire replacement and had us back on the road in about 45 minutes. We barely missed any wrestling. We really appreciate how they treated us and will recommend them to anyone that lives in the Dover / New Philadelphia area.

I called Flynn’s Tire and Auto service 1 hour before closing to get new tires. It took me about 15 minutes to get there and they got me in and out in record time. Great service, very polite and thorough. Thank you Jim and the team

I had to order in the tires I needed, they were very helpful at helping me choose the right tires over the phone. Tires were in within a few weeks, and they worked around my schedule in order to get me in and get them put on. I made an appointment to have an alignment done, and they checked it and it didn’t need an alignment so they didn’t charge me for that, just the cost of the tires. This place has amazing service they also offer guarantees on their tires and I am able to get rotations and repairs for free which is awesome! I love the service and the kindness Flynn has, definitely not like any other shop I have been to! If you need tires this is the place to go!

They were able to get my towed in flat tire car in and out in less than 2 hours, even though they were very busy. James and Jim are always polite and the gentleman that provided the tire change was exceptionally pleasant (I didn't catch his name!). I am so thankful for him!

I would not recommend this tire shop. I took my vehicle there 6 months ago to get two tires replaced. Two weeks ago, I had to get another tire replaced (low profile, run flat tires are terrible). When they went to replace the tire, they told me they couldn't because the lug key was missing. I had 3 options 1) I could buy a key from the dealer, 2) I could try to buy one on-line, or 3) I could have them drill out the lug nuts and replace them. I explained that they were the last ones to use the lug key since I hadn't had a tire replacrs since they last serviced the car. If the lug key is missing, it's because they misplaced it and didn't return it to the car. They had no response. There was no acknowledgment that they misplaced the lug key. I had to find a replacement or have them drill out the lug nuts. I chose option 4 and took my vehicle to another shop. The lack of customer service is an issue, but not returning my lug nut key to my vehicle after replacing a tire is unacceptable for a tire shop.

This is the place to go for tires and service. They treat you right and don't try to upsell you.

Not just me but countless people who are being charged 1000s and 1000s of dollars for 2 hours of work when the going rate is $113 per hour and the parts ordered are maybe equal to $300 on the expensive side. Don’t go to these people they’ll milk you for every dollar they can get. They even tell you there’s more problems with the car when there isn’t anything wrong with what they tell you is wrong. Whatever they tell you don’t take it at face value. Make your lives easier don’t even go here. I hope someone gets these snakes and greedy people shutdown. They act all nice in their replies but I promise you it’s just legal action threats behind phone calls and texts when they have no basis for it either. Word of advice people pay the towing bills instead of going to this company go to someone local they’re way better then these third rate businesses

A shimmy in the sterling wheel brought me to make an appointment for today. They told me it was not out if alignment, but the wheels out of balance.
They balanced the tires, at no charge, since we purchased the tires there, and the shimmy completely disappeared. Thank you.

Tires replaced old, worn ones were reasonably priced. Haven't had the chance to test them yet, but will soon!

I had a tire go flat, towed to Flynn’s, had me taken care of quickly. Even with having to order my tire. They put my spare on and had me on my way. Same great service next day when they installed the new tire!

Jim Yakley gave me eye contact as I was walking into the showroom. He greeted me upon arrival with a smile, and asked me what can we do for you today? I informed him that I was looking for an all terrain tires, my Daddy was going by a price that he saw online at Wal-Mart. I informed Jim that I was passing by and wanted to compare prices, so I could show Daddy when I got home. Jim gave me three different suggestions, starting with the lowest price and printed it out for me. I took the quote and showed Daddy, he wrote me a check, and I got on the phone with Jim. I asked him when would I be able to book an appointment to have the service completed.
He informed me that they had my size tires in stock and I could make my appointment in the morning, if that works for me? I made an 8am appointment. I made it there @ 7: 45am, Jim was waiting at the counter. He saw me pull out my wallet and said, the only thing I will need is your keys, you can pay once the service is complete. I already have your information from your previous visit.
I went outside and started walking around. I saw that Shoney's was close and decided to get something to eat. I was walking back from breakfast @ 8: 45 am and I noticed that my vehicle was parked by the front entrance. I walked in, Jim called me by name and asked another associate to check me out, because he was in the middle of completing something, so I didn't have to wait. Once they received my payment I received my change and my receipt. Jim thanked me once again for my business and asked me if I had time to complete my review for my visit today. He shook my hand and informed me of what's all covered under my warranty with my purchase. Wished me a good weekend and Happy holidays. Jim, is the kind of person that makes me want to tell all my friends and family about how I was treated.like a King.
