Reasonable selection and friendly staff. A little pricey compared to Walmart and similar stores. They make their own pizzas in the deli; better than many local pizza shops.

I like foodfair but they are so expensive and everything is expired! I have to check dates on everything! I go there for meat bc I don't like Walmarts.

Such a nice grocery store. Employees are great and their meat selection is the Absolute Best in our tri-state area. Thanks to Cody Stapleton!

I was just there with a friend for the first time in years, i live right next to Wal-Mart, and i think i will be doing my future shopping here. I will happy drive the extra 10 minutes after my visit. The shelves were full, stocked and front faced like something out of a commercial. I felt compelled to pull items forward and front face as i grabbed things just so everyone would feel the same satisfaction i did. They had everything so clean and organized. The workers were friendly and smiling. They used my reusable bag as well and put everything in so nice and neat. The prices were very reasonable and they had all my favorite brands. Their hard work shows and i respect it.

Great little grocery store. A little high on some products however its far better than having to use self check out at some stores. Price difference is fine with me. Great staff.

Best local grocery store ever! If they don't have something you like, just ask, if they can get it from their warehouse they will! They got my fave peppers and coffee creamer so we didnt have to go to Ironton to get 'em anymore. I like all the ppl that work there, they're so friendly and helpful, and fun to talk to! Great local place for our small town!

Food fair has handicap parking up front and plenty parking around the store. They have the best meat around, any choice you buy you can’t go wrong.

The South Point FoodFair is the best grocery store! If they don't have something, they'll do their best to get it ordered. They'll even sell Super Donuts by the case at a very affordable price; so affordable I wonder how they're breaking even compared to wholesale prices online. They have an excellent rewards system with free items, plenty of options for grocery brands, hot/cold deli items, household, cleaning, and even school pizzas. But that's not what I love most about them.

The staff at the South Point FoodFair make it the best above all else. I can't express this enough. They literally go above and beyond all expectations for their customers. I know this because of what they've done for my own family.

My son (who was two at the time) was terribly sick. He had a fever, both northern and southern flows, and he needed some Pedialyte or its equivalent. This bug came out of nowhere with a quickness. I didn't have any on hand, and that created a big problem.

You see, my husband is a disabled combat veteran who has traumatic brain injury, progressive white matter disease, PTSD, and several other issues. I do all the shopping because he can't handle being in public for very long. He struggles with social cues, and he has serious memory problems. He's lucky to remember if he took his medications or a shower let alone be left alone to handle a sick child who's got explosive bodily fluids coming out both ends so I can run to the store.

But we needed that Pedialyte, and I couldn't just leave them alone to go get it. And I couldn't expect, or even want to ask, my husband to go into a store to look for something he has no idea how to find or what to get. I didn't want to load up an extremely sick toddler and husband into the car because that is just asking for a disaster. Desperate, I took a chance and called the South Point FoodFair to ask (what was to us) an extremely important, huge favor.

When I called, I explained my situation. As soon as I started, Ashley already knew who I was. I didn't expect or realize that the small talk with all the cashiers over the last two years was something more than small talk. She remembered who I was, our situation, all of it.

Ashley made me realize I wasn't just a perfect stranger. I wasn't just a customer, either. She told me to take a deep breath and not to worry about a thing. She told me she'd go get what we needed and put it up front at the register. She said she'd be looking for my husband and would get him in and out without him needing to wait or search for anything.

She understood why our situation was special. She went out of her way to make sure my son had what he needed while making sure my husband could buy it as stress free as possible. That.that is a level of service and care for customers which is hard to find these days.

To Ashley it was no big deal. To me, to us.it was a game changer. It meant the world to us. I could rest easy knowing my husband wouldn't be in a situation that would cause an episode or outburst. It took an entire ton of weight off my shoulders.

To this day I still bring that up and thank her. That's how big a deal it was (and is) to us. She's an amazing person who works her tail off to exceed all expectations.

That's why this FoodFair is much more than a grocery store. The people make it so much more than a FoodFair. They make it personal. The world needs more people like the employees at the South Point FoodFair!
