Fork And Finger Restaurant, Portsmouth OH

I am new to Portsmouth area and was wanting some fish and chips to take home for my wife and I. There is another restaurant in the area that has f&chips, but they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. I found F&F on maps and it had good reviews for f&chips. Ordered takeout and they were some of the best fish and chips we have had. Very friendly staff. We will be back in and try some of their other items. It's nice to find places like this when you are new to the area.

We usually LOVE fork n finger! This is the FIRST time we have ever had a problem! Idk if they have new owners or WHAT but the pork chops (My favorite) we're burnt black! And we didn't even receive my husbands food (it was delivery) and we called to see if we could get this fixed and the staff were VERY inconsiderate and RUDE literally never have we had a problem let alone all these problems at once! Anyway they refused to do anything about the pork chops and argued that they had put my husband's meal in the bag. I had torn the pork chop up before I realized I should take a photo. So don't think it was gave to us ripped up it absolutely was not! It's just how black, dry, and burnt it is.

If you're looking for great home cooked food and absolutely delectable desserts then this is the place! I love eating here. The fried chicken is better than most places that I've ever had. But my favorite is the chocolate cake.

The chicken fingers were cooked to perfection they were seriously the best I've had in a long time at any restaurant. Definitely re ommend this place if your looking for good home food.if your passing by this ️? Stop

Got a hotdog and spinach artichoke dip, which was very good. The better than sex cake is awesome!

Small mom n pop with fantastic food! My family went all 6 of us ordered different meals and they were all delicious

We love seeing the desert display case as soon as we walk through the door. The place is always hustling, the staff is friendly and attentive and the food is well done classic dinner food.

Eat lunch at this little diner today food was very good prices are great service was great very friendly place was packed up and checking out I saw the bakery case out front I couldn’t believe how delicious all these homemade goodies looked! I will definitely be back in if you’re in Portsmouth Ohio make sure you pay this place a visit and tip these ladies well!

Love this little "mom & pop" style diner. Nothing fancy, just good ol' homemade food with good size proportions.

If I could change anything, it would be their hours. They close fairly early.

Not happy with the lady in the front today. She told us over the phone it would be 25 minutes. I was there after 45 minutes, waiting to be told it would be another hour. NO WAY am I waiting 2 hours for food! She never called or anything to update.

Simply the best home cooking in the area. Generous portions and great choices. I reccomend the baked steak, fried chicken livers, spaghetti with meat sauce, fish and chips, and the dessert case is unbelievable! Gerrie really makes you feel at home.

It doesn't look like much but it is very homey and the food it terrific. I recommend any one to go here.

The place itself is missing personality, there's nothing about it in particular. A cafeteria? The old folks seem to like it.

They were very slow. I know they are usually slow anyways because they cook there food from scratch, but when u go there for lunch and it takes over 30 minutes to get your food. I mean come on u can find away to do better
