This is the best farmer market, fresh produce at reasonable price. I think the negative reviews do not tell the whole picture. I recommend giving the place a chance and see for yourself.

The way they treat people at this market is terrible. If you’re looking for friendly people, this is not the market for you. They are rude to customers and delivery people. They left a flower delivery girl I know in tears simply because she was trying to deliver flowers to the owner. I recommend using other local markets for produce.

Great experience and produce used to be the little guys but their service has brought them to the next level

First time inside their "new" market facility, it's very nice. They offer their fresh produce as well as "Amish" products such as Danish, homemade noodles, and jarred products as well. Nice people, family operated!

My family stopped in after church because my granddaughter wanted peaches. It was their first visit and she excitedly picked 2 peaches and put them in her basket. Having never been there before, we didn't know that you had to buy the entire basket and you weren't supposed to pick out singles. The elderly man who I assume runs the market started yelling at her that she "ruined his peaches" and "what she did was wrong". No one understood what he meant but he kept yelling. My granddaughter began crying. Inconsolable. Her dad purchased the entire basket since she touched them and the man was still angry and yelling and did not care at all that he made her cry. Not recommending that place to anyone.

Owners are terrible and make kids cry. Don't go here. Save your time and go to Grobes instead!

This business needs to learn how to talk to and respect people. They are disrespectful and also seem to be racist. Just remember your customers make or break you. I will not support this business. Go down the street to Grobe’s.

Hello all, I want to start by saying I have just recently moved to Ohio from Colorado and have always loved farmers markets and fresh food. I found this place online and visited their establishment with my family. This is a family owned business and I went to shop there today and was told to never come back. This was due to the fact that my sister brought her service dog with us when the door clearly states “service dogs welcome”. From the moment we walked in we felt un welcomed and watched by them. My little sister who is 13 then accidentally dropped a radish on the floor and was asking to put it in the trash can. The owners then yelled at her and told her that now the radish was contaminated and they had to throw the whole package away. My little sister ran to the car crying as we tried to pay for the things we had put in our cart. When we got to the counter to pay the mother father and son we’re surrounding the register and when we tried to put our items on the counter one of the onions slipped out of my mothers hands onto the counter. The mother said that we were no longer welcome to shop there and to leave their store and never come back. We left the cart there and went to the car with the son chasing after us trying to explain to us that his mom “felt like we were throwing the products at her”and that our dog wasn’t actually a service animal. Me and my family will never return back to this snotty establishment as they are discriminatory towards service animals, disabled people, and to people who don’t look like “they fit in”.

To update this post since the owners decided to reply, my mother was never throwing anything at the owners as she dropped one onion and apologized for it. With the radishes my mother offered to pay for them and apologized many times. If you took the time to scroll through these reviews. Mine is definitely not the first in a list of terrible experiences people have had at this establishment. These people are discriminating and they are trying to make excuses because they know that social media and customers can completely destroy a business. Every time i’ve been here there were no other customers! I wonder why? Get some respect for your customers and maybe that will bring in business! DON’T COME TO THIS DISGUSTING PLACE!

Horrible service. Me and my family went in to grab some fruit and ended up getting kicked out. My sister has a service dog and the whole time we were in there they were making snotty remarks and looking at us weird. Then i went to grab radishes and didn’t know we already had some, i went to put them back and i tripped over my shoe and dropped one radish. When i put them back they yelled at me to the point where i was crying. They were telling me that it was unacceptable and that they had to throw away the whole box because i “contaminated the radishes”. I went to the car crying and my family was paying and they told us to leave and never come back because we were being disrespectful.we went back to the car and the son came chasing after us and continued to harass us. DON’T COME HERE. VERY MEAN PEOPLE.

Delicious sweet corn for the unbelievably low price of 13 ears for $5. Checking out was quick and easy and the employees are kind.

This is the WORST market I have EVER been to! I will never be returning, as well as deterring everyone I possibly can. If I could give this place negative stars I would!

We stopped today to check it out and my girls were so excited to go get some peaches and sweet corn. However, while shopping the owner was extremely rude. My 6 year old daughter was looking at peaches and didn't realize that she needed to pick up the whole container of peaches, so she gently placed two peaches into her basket and the owner started yelling at her and look at us as said “do you think it’s okay what she’s doing to those peaches? ! Those are MY peaches! ” My husband put everything else back then purchased the peaches that my daughter apparently “ruined” while I took my daughters to the car so I could comfort her. She was crying to the point of barely being able to breathe because of how this man spoke to her. It was completely uncalled for and unacceptable. She was not hurting the two peaches she touched, she just didn’t know to grab the whole container.

After seeing how upset our daughter was when he came out he went back in to tell the owner that it was not okay and he didn’t have to act like that he didn’t apologize but instead started being even more rude and yelling at my husband.

There was absolutely no reason for this and I am sickened at how he made my little girl feel for no reason! She deserves better and we will NEVER go here again.

Not much selection. However prices were fair and produce was fresh and lasted longer then store bought items from Walmart. Expected more options for fruits and canned goods.

Love, love, love Fowl's Market!
Best corn on the cob EVER!
We are very satisfied with every item we have purchased over the years.
When we get corn elsewhere, it is never as sweet.
We try only to buy at Fowl's, however, we live in Ashland County so it can be difficult to get there.
Thank you Jeff and family for growing the best sweet corn.

This stand offers great vegatables and flowers. However; I am a "white" male with a deep dark tan - I'm not your average looking "white" male. The personnel at the farm market stand were so condescending in their manner of doing business me that I'll never go back there again! I have had similar experiences in the past - so, to you African-American's & brown skins - I understand how you feel.

Thank you for the wonderful produce. Because of your prices we were able to put up our 9 dozen corn and since you are so generous to give 13 ears/dozen we could also enjoy a great dinner, With out a doubt this is the best corn I have ever tasted. Beans canned, corn in the freezer.bring on the winter!

Went there this afternoon looking for fresh tomatoes and corn. Was met by a very rude and snotty women. When I asked about picking out some corn I was told no and that they would pick it out for me. I had never seen this at a farm market so I nicely said would you pick out some good ones for me. At that point I was told we were done here and to leave by the rude beach. Terrible place I think their corn was really awful that's why they pick it out for you. We are done here. Awful, awful, place.
