Frankie's Italian Cuisine, North Olmsted OH

Went there last week. They were only serving pizza, salad, appetizers, sandwiches and dessert due to lack of staff. So now you can't get an Italian dinner at an Italian restaurant. Nice! Thank you Joe Biden.

The Pepperoni Pizza was very good. I haven't had it in a while. I usually get the spaghetti and meatballs, But it is temporally not available due to staff shortages. (I work in a restaurant myself I know what your going through.) Keep up the good work.

Short staffing and limited menu sign should have been a clue about the dinner ahead. Had to wait about 15 minutes for a table in a very small cramped dive in diner. Mozz sticks were frozen. I had better frozen pizza. If my boys says your meatballs are horrible you can put $$ on it. My wife broccoli chick Alfredo was tasteless and I'm pretty sure the chicken is not suppose to be breaded. The waiter will throw straws at your table and forget to bring your bread. Also if you are a table of color even tables seated 20 minutes after you will have their food before you. The old waitress will roll her eyes at you as she walks away from assisting your waiter. Food over priced by far. Thank God Chick fillet next door

It was awful. Had to wait for an hour for a table. Service was awful. Eggplant parmesan was obviously heated up in the microwave. Awful

Terrific Pizza! A little on the expensive side, but it makes sense if they're using quality ingredients. Check it out for sure!

Went to Frankie's for the first time with a group for a family member's birthday. Unfortunately many of the items on the menu were not available due to a lack of staffing, which is not the fault of the restaurant. The food was very good, I had the veal parmesan. It was very good and the pasta was well done also. I met the owner briefly, what a welcoming guy! I will definitely be back to try some more of their dishes.

Stopped here around 1PM on Sat 8/6/22 and a previous Sat month ago both times place was closed doors locked. Are we missing something? Do they have new hours or are they closed Saturday?

So I will preface my one-star rating by saying that at one point, I loved this place and used to come here with my mom all the time.

My last experience was with my wife, her first time going there, and her last time going there. We got childrens cups for our drinks because? I'm 6'2' 180 lbs, I just want a normal cup of coke that I don't empty in two sips and have to keep asking for refills that don't come because they're "so busy".

I ordered Lasagna and my wife ordered, I don't remember honestly, but I know she thought it tasted terrible.
My lasagna? I ate about a quarter of it. They had it in a bowl shaped receptacle that looked like they cooked the lasagna in it because it was literally burned to the bottom of the thing and half of it tasted like it was.

It was literally so bad that when we get coupons for their restaurant in Valpak's we joke that it's still not worth it.

I’ve been wanting to try Frankie’s for a while now and I’m so glad to say I finally have. Nancy was a hoot and a half, she shines! She made our dinner so entertaining. The food was delicious with lovely presentation. Overall a really great environment. You can tell that everyone here is doing their best despite (as i’ve read in reviews) mentions of the restaurant being understaffed.

First time here and it was amazing, Nancy is an all star, providing great entertainment and excellent service, definitely will recommend friends to come here for her alone, also the food was amazing, from the warm bread and amazing appetizers to the wonderful chicken parm, will come again next week!

I have been going to Frankie's since they were on Porter and Lorain. I realize there is an employee shortage, but tonight was the worst experience ever. I was in line at opening, party of 5. We waited and waited. Everyone around us was seated. The rude male host, said he called us twice, but all 5 of us never heard it and he never thought to ask. We left and in an impudent voice, he said, "I called you twice! " Mr Frankie. I was appalled at his behavior and uncaring attitude. I guess after all these years, I won't be back.

So I got home today from work an wanted a good family sit down restaurant. My roommate is rather picky to what he eats.but I said hey let try this place i remember I use to deliver for them quite a bit back when I was delivering for Uber. Me taking that job was to also look for different places to eat. When I find a good p[ace i always like to give good reviews I have people that follow my judgement on places I had Shrimp Alfredo, the sauce was creamy not to stiff, and these people aim to please I felt like it had more shrimp in it than some other places I have ate at before. I loved the meal I chose. And I am not one of those people that will always take the waitresses idea cause I might not be feeling it. Oh yes an this was my first time eating in this establishment. My partner orders Spahgetti Minara I especially asked for thin or angel hair spahgetti for him and when she said what kind of dressing for our salad he had vinegar and oil I had ranch. He is one of these people is hard to please on food. But this place was over an above a 5 star rating for us. He kept going on an on about he loved the sauce. I believe he wanted some to take home. Oh an the waitress that waited on us she was very nice an very polite her name was Debbie R. She was really well on her taking care of people I wish I had had more change in my pocket she would have gotten all of it. She kept coming back checking on us frequently. Then the price was not to expensive at all. If i could this place would get a 10 star rating on being so superb. Thanks so much for a great evening. We will definantly be back again.

This was the worst place we have been in awhile. From the young lady telling us it would only be few mins, then waiting 35 minutes that wasn’t even the worst. Our orders were placed and it took 45 minutes to receive our food. Unfortunately I did they did only have two servers one for each side but come on. If you can’t handle a dining room and focus on take out then you need to close your dining room. Then the lady at the front can’t cash out gotta have someone else. This was horrible and it was just a Wednesday. A freakin Wednesday I’d never come on a weekend.

Good food choices. You can get a quick meal. They have a good pizza business as well. Daily specials are definitely worth it.

Went to dine-in and Frankie's Pizza they took our name and there was only a small waiting area and all the chairs were taken up we had to stand for about 15 minutes finally I found a chair to sit down they only had two waitresses in one waiter and they are also cleaning tables and seem to be not focused on any particular duty. We were never told how long the estimated wait time was, we waited over 45 minutes and never got seated and we walked out. We won't be going back. My opinion was that management has really dropped the ball on customer service

Went there recently, restaurant was very beautiful! I loved the chicken tosca, and the bread was delicious. Loved the Dean Martin in the background, I will be coming back again.

Wasn't impressed at all! The first time going here and will be my LAST! The guy who seated us was rude.didn't seem friendly at all. The salad was bagged salad with one piece of cucumber and one cherry tomato served on a plate! No option of alcoholic drinks. Not to mention the bread was brought out AFTER our meal was served! I'll stick to going to Little Italy where everything is FRESH including the Salads!
