A friend had a baby shower here and it was such a great set up. A small kitchen with a sink and fridge only. The room was HUGE fit 80ush or so people. And the place looked nice. Tons of parking. They also provided tables and chairs. It was a great location for a group event.

Awesome place to go hoofing it with a young, adventurous dog. Going off the main trail, I have gotten really lost more than once, and I wish there were more directional signs! Clunk, 1.

But the views are spectacular, the OP in the park are cordial and friendly, and my Pibble thinks the off trails are heaven on.
Dog and Hoomin water fountain available near the southern, French Creek entrance. Also a small playground, gazebos and grills.

This is a.must see center. There is a theater where they have plays. Great outdoor area. A lot of Information. This would be a great place to have a party.

Nice park and nature center, paved and gravel trails. 90% of the trails are covered in shade. Great for walking.

I can't believe this place is located in the Lorain/Sheffield/Elyria area. I've been hiking and trail running here for over 30 years and it never gets old. The trails are well maintained and well shaded.

Nice trails and nature center. Main trail is fine and accessible to any one. Lot of trails shoot off main trail. These are the secluded trails.

Beautiful. Well kept paths, shaded from the tree canopy. Lots of parking spaces and an area to have a family bbq.

Staff are extremely friendly! They let my son watch them feed the fish, turtles, and the toad! Great little play area too! Very clean and awesome place to visit! Great walking trails too!

Wish there was some more animals but the walking trails are really cool, we saw a lot of snakes in the water + on the trails. They have an indoor play area for kids which was really nice too.

This place is wonderful! You will be surprised how beautiful nature is and how many activities you can do here. There are activities for children, animal exhibits, history, paths to walk along paths full of trees which each have their names, you can take your pets, there is a beautiful lake where you will see the ducks bathing and listen to the running of the Water. If you like nature and appreciate the wonders around it, this place is perfect for you, you will not regret it.

Very nice, short trail. We ride it three or four times around to get in a few miles on the bikes.

Totally an enjoyable experience a lot of trails even main ones to stay on if you're worried about getting lost you can walk you can bike, and when you park at the center you can go in and explore what they have inside as well.

Big woods nature trail a bit soggy this morning, but there were a few hardy hikers out despite the rain. Actually hiking in the rain adds a cool, (literal and figurative) dimension to the experience and bonus: no bugs!

Not sure the Nature Center is worth the visit unless you're attending a function/theater program.

Seems like a very large Metro park, well maintained & clean.

We meandered on a trail, crossing French Creek a couple of times (which is larger than expected) & discovered the Picnic Area & Playground (which apparently has a separate park entrance & parking area).

Should have taken a trail map with us as once on winding paths for awhile, we had difficulty understanding how to get back to our parking lot (actually asked 2 groups for directions).
