Fricker's, Maumee OH

Good food, good service, good atmosphere. We really enjoyed this place, it's not some place I would go out of the way to get to, but being in the area it's definitely a solid place for dinner.

Part of the walk up ramp is pressure treated wood. This wood gets slippery when wet. I slipped and fell on my way out. One of my friends went inside to complain and give her opinion about the wood needed replaced. Absolutely no employees expressed concern, nor did anyone come out to check on me.

I brought my parents here, as they've never been to a frickers before and they both absolutely loved it! My mom said that's some of the best green beans she's ever had lol my mac n cheese came out a little cold but my waitress quickly fixed that for me.

The food was really good. I got the chicken chunks tossed in barbecue sauce and fries with cheese. The workers are nice. The only bad experience I had here was when the place smelled really bad but it might’ve been because I was sitting next to the bathroom. I usually don’t have fun playing games at my age but there actually kind of fun. I won a lot of rubber ducks in a claw machine. Overall it was a great experience and I continue to come back. I recommend going here.

I know that there's things going on due to the Covid crisis but you don't have to be rude. Update, our latest visit (5/20) was much better than the previous one and I noticed that the staff must be under gd mgt because everyone moved together. Great work

Service was good, but the food was warm but not hot. There are a couple games in one corner (basketball, skeeball, and a couple crane games) with a coin changer.

I had forgot how good their food is and decently priced as well. Kids eat free VERY DAY with the purchase of an adult meal, which makes it easier on the wallet.

First timers and can't wait to go back! The food was very delicious, the service was amazing, and it's a very fun place to eat!

This is one of the better places in Maumee to get wings from, and has one of the most unique dessert menus I’ve seen. Lighting is not great as it causes a glare on the menus that makes it a little difficult to read, but the service was amazing. The brew city basket is a must-try appetizer, and I highly recommend funnel cake fries for dessert if you have a sweet craving. Get those with icing as the dipping sauce. Your server might not suggest it, as it’s not listed on the menu but they do offer it and it’s the best dipping sauce for the funnel fries. If you plan on getting wings, go straight for medium as the mild wings are pretty underwhelming/tasteless. Other than that, this is a great and energetic environment to be in. They also offer around a dozen different arcade games to pass the time if that’s what you’re looking for.

I come here often because my kid likes it, if they could just remove the bathroom smell it would make a huge difference

This is one of my favorite frickers to go to. I will say it is hit or miss. This time we went the food was cold again coming out. One bad draft beer exchanged for a good one. Its either bad service, skunked / bottom of keg beer, or cold food. Those are one of the negative things we hit every time we go with the kids. One time we went everything was spot on. I will say the waitresses like to clump together and chit chat at the end of the bar more than they work. This is an every time event. They stand there talking while there are 0eople looking for or at them.

The wings are always good, they’ve been a little skimpy with sauce lately, they do have keno (we pick places sometimes bc of that) games for the kids are junk though wasted about five bucks on broken machines, and pro tip on busy nights don’t let them sit you in that back room w the games that’s where all the kids go and it’s chaos

Fricker's was great. First time experience. The baked beans were on. The burger was delicious. Good selection of beer. The whole family loved the food, and the environment, as their faces clearly show. This was our first real family dine-out experience upon moving to Ohio, and we were definitely satisfied with our spur of the moment decision to give it a shot. So far I would say one of the best restaurants I've visited in toledo.

Stopped on our way home from a Walleye game for a late dinner to take home. We ordered a couple of sandwiches one burger and one chicken then we split them in half so we could trade halves. I have to say the burger was much better than the chicken sandwich.

I placed an online food order and was told it will be ready by 6pm. I waited inside for another 30 min for my food to come out. By the time I drove around the block, back to my house, surprisingly my food was cold, as if it was sitting in the back for a long time before they even brought it to the front counter. Then the pretzels I ordered didn’t come with the beer cheese I had to pay more for, and the sauce on my chicken wings wasn’t what I ordered. When I called to talk to the manager, all he could say was sorry and he will make a new order for me but couldn’t guarantee when that would be ready. The customer service was horrible, and for a good local pub/restaurant I use to go to often, has me reconsidering if I would ever return back.
