Friendship Acres Campground reviews
13I have some good words to say about this place, but more negative. We were kicked out for no reason but let the owner tell it we were the bad guys, but thank goodness for multiple witnesses that stood up for us. Total hypocrites and allow people to stay when they owe a lot of money on lot fees and electric bills. It's nothing but politics out there. You can't do this you can't do that and then allow other people to get away with everything. I would never recommend this place to anyone, not for a weekend or seasonal. If I could give this place no stars I definitely would
Nice amenities.restaurant, bar, people were very nice. Campground was really nice.but.many campers had run down trailers or rv's.junk around.very dirty.others were quit nice. Would be a good idea to hold those campers to a higher standard so the entire campground was nice. Otherwise, very nice campground.
Friends recommended us to give this campgrounds a try. Not the neatest or cleanest campground. Some campsites are unkept with long grass and clutter. Owner is not very friendly. Has potential but has a long way to go.
Just picking up a friend didn't actually camp. It makes me sad that the peacock enclosure is not really right for the bird. It needs to be bigger and taller so the male can spread its tail. They also need a perch and don't really like to be on concrete.
We went to see Bad Juju. They are definitely a favorite. Always a good time had at the campgrounds.
Owners are rude don’t care about anything but the bar. Not a place for kids. Make sure you lock your stuff or it will be stolen
Be careful your camper doesn't get broken into first off!
Owner teaches little kids to to cuss and flip people off. Does not know how to talk to people with respect!
3 grown adults was gonna go after my daughter that is a amputee with 2 one year olds. Told the owner and he said deal with it yourself! Absolutely horrible!
Someone stole my grandson bike. Went and told the owner and again he said.deal with it yourself. My daughter did. She made the man get on her golfcart and go apologize to her son and he did.
Went to go pay for our seasonal spot and he throws us out.
I asked Dave.the owner why he was doing this and he said my daughter didn't call the cops lol.but she did what he said.deal with it yourself and she did. Made him apologize and did not want to bring the cops to the campground.
I felt so bad for her. She donated 300 worth of food and the kids were stealing at the white barn playing Inappropriate music! Nothing done! Bathrooms are disgusting and pool gets cleaned once its totally disgusting!
And the theft out there is out of control!
Is it perfect? Nope.
The water is crazy sulphur filled, you need a water filter. The gravel roads get ruts after hard rains. When the Randolph/Portage County Fair is going, the events are LOUD!
But all the employees work hard to make it a good place and are very responsive. Somethings are worn, but in good repair. Everything works.
99% of the guests are really friendly. (There's always that 1%).
The park allows pretty much anything for a camper/RV and the prices are low.
The only real wish I have is that the restaurant attached did delivery to the park.
Overall I couldn't ask for a better park, especially for the price!
Absolutely the best campground I have ever visited. They have a lil store, two ponds for fishing, a restaurant, live bands one the weekends, a lids craft area, a large play ground, basketball and volleyball areas, and a swimming pool. All at affordable rates that can't be beat. I wish we would have visited sooner.don't miss out on a vacation here.very family oriented.
We just got done traveling 16 hours, awake 36 and were eager to get settled into a place we could call home. But instead we were greeted by the owner sitting behind a glass flicking us off and not saying a word but giggling. The people who own this place are rude and would not recommend doing business. If you need another recommendation I suggest Hillside down the road, at least there you aren’t greeted with a creepy old dude.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My husband got cussed at in the office for asking a simple, polite question. We have never been spoken to in that way in a campground before. They do not deserve your business.
Couldnt get service. Waited for a long time just to be acknowledged or seated. Finally sat. After 10 minutes a customer at another table brought me a menu. They obviously dont want or need my business. I left
Love the place.there's an upstairs bar and camp store. Downstairs there's a big bar with a big stage. Affordable prices. There's even a pool outside. We didn't use the pool.but it looked great. Only down side was we ordered food but never got it. But they were terribly short staffed. Will definitely be going back on Thursday evening $1 bud lights. Woop Woop
