My mom and I went to visit several senior living centers in the area, and Friendship Village was the one she chose. While she was nervous about leaving her condo in Dublin, mom has found her new independent living apartment to be a perfect fit. She is so happy there. The amenities, living options, and levels of care were perfect for her needs. She has met so many nice people, and is quickly making many new friendships, and enjoying all that Friendship village has to offer.
Jen, the Move-in coordinator, and Neil, the residency counselor, did such an amazing job helping us navigate through the process!
We can’t thank them enough for their patience and their willingness to answer all of our questions. They really made the process warm and friendly!

I moved into Friendship Village of Dublin from out of state 1 and 1/2 years ago and couldn't be more satisfied. The grounds are beautiful, the staff is excellent, the residents are friendly and welcoming. There are numerous activities to keep you healthy and engaged, entertained and challenged. I recommend you contact Neil for a personal tour to see if this is the right move for you also.

Our experience at Friendship Village of Dublin was wonderful every step of the way! Neil Edelson was SUPER helpful in explaining the benefits and different cost elements and Jen Norder was also SUPER helpful when it came to actually coordinating our mom’s move in.

We recently moved our father to a smaller apartment in Independent Living. I can’t say enough about the helpfulness of various staff members who assisted us throughout this process. They helped to make the move seemingly effortless. Both the Sales Director and the Health and Wellness Navigator went (and continue to go) above and beyond in providing very timely and thoughtful responses to our questions and any concerns. We feel very comfortable and confident in their capabilities. Their timeliness, follow up and attention to detail is very much appreciated. Not always common qualities these days. So a very big THANK YOU to ALL of you!

Betsy and I moved to FVD in October 2020. The decision to leave our home of 38 years here in Columbus and move to a retirement community was not an easy one to contemplate. That process meant acknowledging that our desire for continued independent living might at some point have to yield to a need for assisted or continuous care. It took us several years to "start looking, ” and we looked here in Columbus and closer to where our children live on the East Coast.

On our first visit to FVD, we met with Neil Edelson in the marketing group. We spent well over an hour as he reviewed the many options – types of residences, other facilities, meal plans, etc.that were available. Importantly, we established a relationship; Neil advised us over several months as we determined what would work best for us. Once we made our decision and the unit became available, we received invaluable assistance during our transition from downsizing to moving in.

FVD has proven to be “everything that was advertised” and more. The facilities are terrific and the staff in all areas could not be more friendly and helpful. Covid 19 raised its ugly head as we were looking and subsequently moving in. FVD’s response to the pandemic has been and continues to be outstanding.

In short, our move to FVD has allowed us to continue our personal and professional relationships of many years and make new friends in the Village with the knowledge that if we need more assistance, it will be here for us.

Three years ago when my house was flooded, I needed a place to stay really fast. Neil Edelson was recommended as a person to talk to about Friendship Village of Dublin. I had never thought of moving to a retirement community. There I had so many questions probably more than any other person, who had certainly done research before coming here. I was afraid of living with rules over rules and loosing my independence. Neil saw my anxiety and answered every question I had precisely, whether it was about finance, daily life or even future decisions like moving out again, in case I would go back to Germany for good. Then Neil showed me an available apartment. I liked it so much I wanted to move in the next day. It was not the next day but the next week!
Now three years later I am totally happy. I have all my freedom, have found many new friends and interesting activities. Everybody working here is extremely nice, polite and friendly. Still, whenever I have a question, I see Neil and he takes care of everything.

Thank you, Neil.

What a truly incredible place and experience. We were very close to having my Mother become a resident of Friendship Village but had to change plans (Covid, Health, etc) by having her move out west to where we live. I had been staying in touch with Neil Edelson at Friendship Village over the past two years as we were making plans to enter Frieindship Village. Neil was the consumate professional who really listened and help coach us to the decision to have her move out west closer to us. Neil is that rare individal who listens and empathizes each and every day. He genuinely, personally invests in all his clients and brings goodness daily. If you are in need for a "best in class" retirement community, please, please, please check out Friendship Villiage of Dublin and look up Neil Edelson. It might be one of your best decsions ever!

I have worked for Friendship Village of Dublin for almost 6 years. The Director, Department Heads, Board of Directors, Staff and our family of Residents make our community a positive environment in which to work.
Management recognizes employee commitment to the community and graciously compensates such dedication. Being a part of such a caring workplace is such a blessing during these challenging times. I am grateful to be a part of the FVD community.

I can't say enough good things about Friendship Village Rehab. I live in Utah and was coordinating things for my aunt and uncle in Dublin. Amber and Jessica were so on top of things. Their communication was wonderful, they always kept me in the loop and they went above and beyond to ensure everyone's safety during COVID. My aunt and uncle said the food was great, the staff were compassionate and caring and the management was right on top of things. 5 stars! Thanks for all you did for them.

If you are in desperate need of a job, please do yourself a favor, do not work in the culinary department of this place. Don't be fooled by the false friendly faces. The toxic behavior there runs deep. Working at Friendship Village of Dublin was the worst years of my life, at times I even questioned what was the point of living. After years of misery I left, and let me tell you, I felt like Andy at the end of Shawshank Redemption, I was finally free. PS Don Paul is the worst human being I've ever met. And that was not a hyperbole. PSS James the Chef rocks though!

My mother and father have lived at Friendship Village for 4 years now. The staff is amazing and the food is top notch. The Sunday brunch is the best in the city. The leadership is spot on with there vision of expansion. The new dining rooms are first class. The health center staff is also top notch and are caring and kind. I love visiting my parents and I must add it was the best decision they made about retiring. Keep up the amazing work all of you do.
