Frisch's Big Boy, Dayton OH

I love Frishe's Big boy and Onion Rings, however the last 2-3 times I have been there they have been "out" of onion rings or their "machine" is not working. How can they make fries but not onion rings. Is anyone else having thus issue? Are they truly out of onion rings or do they just not want to go thru the hassle?

Dont Bother. Fries tasted stale or freezer-burnt. Bacon cheeseburger was okay. Pretty mediocre meal for $8

This is a good Frisch's. The drive thru is quick and they are hospitable when you dine in. This review is negating Covid-19 regarding the dine in experience.

The food on the Breakfast buffet was old n gross. Had really been looking forward to this since it's been over a year.disappointing

I was in the drive thru line for 37 minutes. All I got was a Vegetable soup and two Hot Fudge Cakes. There was literally 7 people walking around inside doing absolutely nothing, while I was at the window, waiting for said order. It took 11 minutes from when I pulled up to the window to get my food! It can't be that hard to pour Vegetable soup into a cup put a lid on it, grab some crackers and make two Hot Fudge Cakes!

I have always loved it here.actually was my first job at 16! Love them buddy boys and big boys. Can't resist them. The place is always clean the service is always great, cant ask for a better bunch. Thanks guys!

When we sat down the table and one of the chairs was sticky, the waiter was very helpful and cleaned it right away. We all got the breakfast buffet and there was some moldy food in the trays but most of it was good. Will probably go again, it's always been perfect whenever I go, I hope this was just a one time thing.

It's not the same. My Hamburger so small! The bun, lettuce, and other accoutrement did little to disguise it's extremely small patty.

I noticed that the breakfast bar isn't as big as some of the other Frisch's that I've been to. The food was lukewarm and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. The waitress was very nice. I guess I would recommend only if you catch them at a time when the food's fresh.

Went thru drive thru. Ordered a Big Boy and a bowl of Chili. Sandwich was dry and cold.chili was a bowl of grease. Very disappointed. Have a photo of the Chili to post

Tea was old. Had breakfast bar at night and everything was dried out. Staff is lazy except one waitress. Was not happy and will NOT return.

The restuarant was a bit dirty
, carpet needs cleaned, salad bar needed attention
lettuce a little brown. Service was great and food hot and good.

Service was really good; kind, attentive. However, burger was overcooked and dry. Onion rings are the best.

Didn't have what we wanted so we left, not blaming them for everybody wanting Turkey before we could get there. I will rate again after we get to eat there lol.

Food is overpriced and mediocre at best. Burger was burned to a crisp. The cook was loudly using the F word for all to hear. The waitress was nice so that is the only reason for more than 1 star

My son and I stopped in for lunch. The waitress was very kind to my son, brought him a bowl of goldfish from the salad bar.
Food was hot and fresh, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
I highly recommend this location.

The manager Jody was rude and ignorant. We came in for the breakfast bar and waited 30 minutes for pancakes and French toast. If you know it’s a buffet stay on your workers to get the job done instead the manager looked high and didn’t care

Poor service. Very Poor Attitude towards customer complaints. Would rather give EXCUSES than service.

Quiet casual dining experience. Service was a little slow for such a light crowd on a typical weeksay. Revamped menu items, good classic selection.

Always seem to be out of deserts and fine with that, then usually leave something out of my to go order.
Just not up to par.
It's like stepping into a lower class, big boy.
