Fugu Sushi, Pickerington OH

I have been eating at this restaurant for almost 10 years now. I've watched this restaurant grow and expand over the years. It used to be just the one room. It has truly been a pleasure supporting this business over the last decade.

The food is ALWAYS fresh, delicious and affordable. The service is the best and I genuinely love the people who run it. If you're out this way PLEASE consider checking this place out.

I have many favorites: sweet potato roll, pink lady roll, lovely roll, fat lady roll, spicy tuna roll and I love the fried dumplings. They also run a killer lunch special. I believe it's M-F until 3 p.m. Any 2 basic rolls with soup or salad for $9 or any 3 for $12.

Our favorite Sushi place in COlumbus! We live on the East side and this is our go to spot. Good prices and great food!

Best place to get sushi in Ohio hands down. The service is somehow even better than their food and that is hard to beat.

The food is fantastic! Be prepared to wait 45 minutes to get your food, but the wait has always proven to be worth it.

We finally after being here for 4 years gave it a try. The food was fresh and tasty and our server, Wendy, is a hoot! She immediately made my wife and I very comfortable, had great recommendations (not one bad roll or entree so far) and her sense of humor rivaled our own. We’ve been back twice in a couple weeks and Wendy is always happy to see us and chat.

One of my favorite restaurants in Pickerington for the past 5 years I’ve lived here! I’ve had many great experiences here with both dining in and picking up take out. The staff is always super kind and the food is always amazing

This is our go-to sushi place. And that is saying something, considering that there are a handful of sushi restaurants much closer to us. The sushi is always fresh and delicious. Excellent gyoza. Great tempura. Take-out is efficient. Their restaurant is clean and we've never had an issue with their service. Highly recommend Fugu!

Eveeytime I go David is my server and he is the most attentive and dedicated server (he might be the only one?) that I've had. He is professional and friendly. The sushi here is to die for, the godzilla roll is amazing and the Naruto roll is a great alter active for anyone who doesn't like a lot of rice or seaweed. 10/10 every time.

This a is sushi place new to us. It's across the street from our gym. We went there one night. The sushi is so good. Service was really fast and they were so nice to us. We really enjoyed our experience.

Highly recommend the Futo Maki roll (Japanese version of the Korean kimbap roll), sweet potato tempura roll, and shrimp tempura roll. The handrolls are small, 6 pieces each. The green salad is a good size and I like the sweet ginger sauce. These three rolls and the salad for $12 lunch special is a steal! Will be back!

Service was horrible, the lady was rude. I got really sick that evening from eating there, so did my cousin, it's not the first time we have heard of someone getting sick.just not a good first experience for myself.

I absolutely love this place! Food is great, friendly environment, and fast service. I’m pretty sure they only have one server (David) and he is awesome! If they had an employee of the month wall it would just have David’s picture a bunch of times! Seriously, he’s super attentive and his recommendations are always on point!

Average Japanese food. Not bad but nothing amazing. We did like the shishito peppers since it’s not something you find on every menu. The karaage had a different breading than what I’m used to when I think of karaage. Bento box lunch was decent. Service was pretty good. While we had some problem with the plates not being the cleanest (still some old rice stuck to it) our server was quick to help us out and give us new plates. Also made sure our drinks were topped off as well.

Dinner was delicious and well made. I enjoyed everything I tried as did the rest of the table. The staff were amazing and super helpful. I will be going back

Been going here for years. Love this place, wonderful sushi options, great prices, a variety of different things - from drinks to food! Service is always very fast & friendly. It's my #1 favorite sushi spot!
