Staff is not knowledgeable enough to try and help you build a custom. If you're gonna build something custom, it needs to be right. Owner is very arrogant.

We have been ordering custom wood furniture from Furniture Nook for 12 years. Cherry and maple dining room table with chairs. Bedroom set. Corner TV cabinet. Round coffee table. The quality of every piece was flawless and beautiful. They work with us to custom design each piece to our dimensions. We truly value owning these classic pieces made in Amish country of locally sourced fine hardwoods. Customer service and delivery service from Furniture Nook is excellent.

We have ordered 2 complete bedroom sets and have had nothing but good experiences. We are starting on our 3rd set with just a dresser and will be back for a matching nightstand and bed when ready to upgrade from the crib! Thank you for all your help. Furniture Nook, you Rock!

We bought four dining room chairs from the Furniture Nook. If I was only rating the chairs, I'd give five stars. The chairs are beautiful, and the quality is excellent.
However, the service we received during the process was closer to one star. We ordered the chairs on February 4th. We were told that day to expect a six to eight week turnaround. This sounded reasonable. A few days after eight weeks passed, my wife called to ask for an update. The person she spoke with told her they'd look into it and call her back. Over a week passed, so I called to ask why no one had called her back, and to ask for an update. The person I spoke with said the wait time was actually more like 10-12 weeks. And that updates are hard to get from their Amish builders as they don't use technology. But, she said the next day they'd be visiting their staining shop and would get me an update. More than three weeks passed without a callback. I called and left a message asking for a callback and update. I was called the next day, and told "we can't call customers back with updates, as we have over 200 orders at a given time. " And the excuse about not having updates due to the Amish not using phones was used again.
Finally, we got our chairs 15 weeks after ordering them. Despite taking longer than not only what we were originally told, but also the updated timeframe, we never once received an apology for the lack of follow-up or communication. That was much more upsetting than the wait itself. Delays happen. But to not have the delays communicated, and to have no one we spoke with own the poor communication, it left us feeling as though our business is not valued.
While we are happy with the finished product, we will be looking elsewhere the next time we shop for furniture.

We purchased our bedroom furniture. It was delivered on time. The delivery staff was very helpful and very thorough during the set up of the order. We recommend furniture nook to anyone that wants excellent service and will deliver the items on time.

It was a great experience someone named russel helped us get a solid oak table for a good price I would recommend you going there and get some for a good amount

My custom desk arrived damaged and I paid in-full after being promised it would be repaired. After weekly follow-ups, the desk still wasn't repaired and I was promised I'd be contacted any day by the repair person contracted by Furniture Nook. After following-up for over over a month, my messages were no longer returned so I had to file a dispute on my credit card. Only then was I contacted by the repair person, who apologized and said he was only contacted by Furniture Nook about this issue a couple days earlier. This is proof there was no effort by Furniture Nook to repair the desk until after I had to file a dispute.

Desk was finally repaired, I reversed the dispute, and Furniture Nook received their payment. Weeks later I'm still receiving multiple messages saying I owe payment and requesting I re-run my credit card for payment (pay twice). I've provided multiple documents and proof of payment from my bank and am still receiving messages. Based on this post-sale customer service experience, I cannot recommend anyone do business with this company.

The furniture itself is solid wood and a good value, but there are plenty of other stores in the area that also contract-out the same amish-made furniture.

We can’t say enough positive things about them. They spent multiple days helping us pick out new bedroom furniture for 4 new bedrooms. We have purchased new furniture for the house from both Furniture Nook and Arhaus. My business partner and I have also purchased office furniture from Arhaus and from Ashley furniture. For reference, the quality of furniture that Furniture offers is hands down better quality than anything else out there and the prices are incredibly reasonable for the quality.

Secondly, small businesses are so underrated nowadays. Too many people look for the convenience of easy delivery or online shopping and the most beneficial quality of Furniture Nook, in addition to the quality of their products, is the personal touch of walking through selections, customs designing stain colors and the hardware on the furniture. The owners of the company are class acts.

Unfortunately, we bought a new master bedroom set from Ashley Furniture about 5 years ago and it was over $5,000 and the quality is not good.we really wish we would have gone to Furniture Nook then and ended up with quality furniture. It would have been the smart decision long-term and the quality would be noticeably better.

Overall, I could write a book about our experience and nothing but positive both on interactions, quality and prices. We will tell everyone we can to stop in the store as our experience has been that positive.
