4Their Christmas production was wonderful, they all did so good! Very entertaining
This was my first visit to the Galion Community Theater, and I must say I was impressed. The auditorium had been completely remodeled from its original design from the time it was built when I was a teenager. It was a movie theater in the 1960s. There is a small concession area for nonalcoholic drinks, popcorn, and a few other snacks. The seating is numbered. The musical, "ONCE UPON A MATTRESS, " was delightful. The stage settings were very well done. The actors and actresses ages were 10 to 18 years. The performance itself was quite good, I would even go as far as excellent in my opinion. I will confess to a familial connection to a princess. However, that does not affect my overall view regarding this rating. The only parts of the overall musical that were bothersome were the times when the instrumentals were drowning out the vocals. It made it difficult to hear the performers' vocals as they were pleading their case or their expressive emotional experience. With that said, it was a wonderful opportunity for me to enjoy an evening out and to support our community and youth. "BRAVO, BROVO, WELL DONE, "
Nicely converted for use by community theater group. The musical SpongeBob was very well done. Great casting.
Chairs were uncomfortable for a long show. In need of more restrooms. Personnel were very nice and helpful. Production was fabulous.
