Gamble-Nippert YMCA, Cincinnati OH

I was just parking in there parking lot, to kill some time. Parking lot was spacious. Great view of the of the YMCA play ground and swimming pool area. Looks like a great place for families to enjoy. Parking lot was clean and well maintained.

We had date night there. Needed some outside time so we packed dinner up and drove over. They have tables so we got a cloth from $1 store. Ate and played board games till sun went down.

I loved the swim lessons for my baby. The instructor was wonderful and the classes were informative and fun.

I was their and a worker said 13 years and up can use a gym and the next day I wasn't aloud and u can't bring a friend until u r 16

Love our local YMCA. Great staff and programming. The classes are a great way to stay motivated. Plenty of children's activities and a way to keep the kids engaged besides just school. Wonderful community!

Something there for everyone. Staff is helpful. Always can get on a machine in the gym. Basketball courts, yoga, kids activities, and large outdoor field in the back.

I love it here! But one thing that need major improvement is the steam room! Its usually not working!

The summer camp program at this location is the best experience I've had working with the YMCA. I will be using this location for school day out programs if I can.

Basketball, swimming, open field for soccer and baseball or softball.

Team activities or work out on your own.

Great place to stay in shape or make new friends.

I find it utterly disrespectful how the life guards act towards members who have paid there dues to be at the ymca there life guards are disgraceful and have little to no respect towards to the visitors who have paid there hard earned money to come herr i dont feel its right that people pay money to be treated is such a manor.

Extremely ghetto! Very shady employees! My phone got stolen from the locker room when I had a lock on the locker and then the desk refused to help and referred to me as priveleged. They suggested next time that I give my phone to them when I go swimming. So I did that. When I was swimming, one of the employees gave my phone to the wrong person. I think they stole it though. Not only that, my cars been broken into up there and the guys in the gym constantly use profanity!

Staff is always nice and helpful, No waiting for a cardio machine and Decent weight machines and free weights area nice and clean.

The worst ymca the management is very helpful at times but the employees are lazy and they don’t help at all until manage is around the lady Whitney is very disrespectful and she acts as she is your child’s mother and she is very lazy don’t expect anyone to nice here. The man in weight room is very disrespectful to children also he told my child to leave as he could work out.

The pool isn't over crowded with rowdy unsupervised children like some others are. The pool is clean, and the lifeguards really watch what is going on. I feel good about my child swimming there.

I've been a member for almost 20 years. Convenient, newly remodeled pool, clean, great diversity, great programs, great management. Hours are convenient. There are rarely any waiting time for equipment. It's not as flashy as some of the newer Ys but it's MY Y!

Grew up with this YMCA, I think it has really gone downhill since they replaced the outdoor pool with one that doesn't have a diving board or deep end.

This gym is well loved. Its weight room is small and cramped for free weights. The majority of space is devoted to cardio machines. I work out at 5 am so I have no experience how busy or cramped it can get, but I can imagine.
I consider 4 stars as adequate.
If it is updated, maybe with more room for weights, it would become a 5 star easily.
