Collectibles Store GameStop reviews
10 Tried to go to this store on a Sun afternoon (8.20) around 1pm and this location was close. No sign explaining why, no hours posted (had to look them up on here).
Totally wasted trip to try to spend money at GameStop for them to not even bother to open this location? !?
There was someone there at the store and they refused to open the store they had a sign “gone to the back and be back soon” but I tried calling multiple times and they refused to answer and I went to the store and the door was locked and I tried knocking hard multiple times and no one opened if I had the option I would of rated 0 stars
Been trying to pay off a pre-order but they are never open. Been trying for a week. Other locations here know nothing and won't help since I can only pay it off where I pre-ordered. Absolutely terrible location.
Store is nice and has everything you need! Very short staffed. Store didn't open on a Saturday due to staff
Visited this location to look at a Nintendo switch. The people working there didn't greet us nor asked if we needed help. I said hi to them 2 time's and finally got a look like I was bothering them! Never will I go back to this location.
They don't even open the store. Walked past it at 12: 10 or so to shop there and it was closed, store hours say they open at 11 on Sundays. Then a minute after I keep walking, I see a red car pull up, park, two people come out of the car with fast food and go into the store after unlocking it for themselves. They won't answer calls. And they're still pretending to be closed/not at the store.
3 separate people told me I could return my product within 30 days. One employee refused to help me, refused to call his supervisor, and told me to call customer support because it “wasn’t scanning right and he didn’t know why. ” Customer support said that the store was wrong and they don’t know why they wouldn’t help me. They looked up my purchase and said they should be able to call the store and that I would receive a call back from this store with an update on what to do.nobody ever called me back so I went back in and they told me that apparently I was told wrong, I really only had seven days. I’m not sure why three separate people told me opposite. The employee who helped me the last time called his manager right in front of me (literally the guy who sold me the console) and I overheard him say I am clearly lying and just trying to get my money back. Then, even though they sold it to me for over $250, I asked how much it would be for them to just buy it back since I have not used since I bought it and they told me I would only get $140 back as that it’s “face value”. A complete scam. So shout out to the store for wasting my time and being the reason I’m out almost $400!
Worst store and manager you could hope to interact with. Tried to SCAM me out of a $76 game I paid for by not giving it. If you call them they hang up after you speak to them. Pickup then hang up again when called back. Then yes hear this-> they pretend to be calling a pizza place to place an order when YOU were the one calling them (twice this happened) using a fake voice…same call the person threatened me saying they have my number- then went into placing a pizza order again- you can’t make this joke of a place up- I hope they go out of business for treating customers so poorly.
The place was clean. Not everything was marked to the correct price. The cashier wouldn't take no for an answer and insisted that I was just gonna be staring at a white box (Xbox one s). Honestly he came off rude. Support local shops. Not these big corporate companies
Horrible store. I ordered a product online that wasn’t working and when I started a return online it told me to bring it to the store with a sheet of paper to process the return for free rather than be charged for shipping the return. When I brought the item in the associates gave me a really hard time about missing cables even though I brought everything in that I was given with the product when I received it from my online order. They had a bad attitude about it and told me to go call customer service which is an infinite loop of being told to take it back to a store. Somehow no one at GameStop communicates between store and online. They feel like completely separate companies and the in store people don’t care about customers that shop online. Wouldn’t recommend buying from GameStop when you can shop at any other place that treats there stores the same as online.
