GameStop Prestige, Avon OH

This is a great store. I stopped in to get a game and Brian was welcoming and extremely helpful! The game I wanted for my kids was sold out, but he explained how to buy it off the eShop and, as a newbie to the eShop purchasing, I was very thankful for the help.

Cashier was awesome. Looked items up for me. Very knowledgeable on products. Disappointed to hear they won't be carrying as much starwars merch as before.

Stopped in to get some prices on some games. I was about to ask the guy at the counter a question but didn’t want to interrupt his conversation about liberal cities being run by communists and liberal cops drinking the koolade and homeless people shouldn’t have rights. I left without buying the three games I wanted. I don’t care what you political standing is but if you are going to spew it in front of customers, expect to lose business. (This took place around 12: 30pm on 6/5/21)

Went in to look for nintendo switch games. They had maybe 13 games. Seriously!? I know from looking online they had a buy 2 used games get 1 free. (on any console) when I asked the 2 associates about this they weren't aware of any details about it. Which they had sign posted but they thought had some game amount limit or something, they had no clue. Which in turn didn't matter prices as long was used. So we looked found 3 get to register and said oh we don't have these in stock. Seriously.then why are they on the damn shelf as used.ugh. Definitely won't be going back there. And I'm finding with most gamestops there's no used games or little games. Or they take off 2 or 3 dollars Seriously?

Staff told me they would lose their job if they sold me a PS5 - that the rest of the country is selling. They obviously are not in the retail business or their employees are not! She said her manager told her to say that - I’m sure u will be going out of business soon - u have to sell to stay in business people!

Called them from another gamestop asking for a specific game that has the same sku number as the collectors edition. Asked them if they had the collectors edition specifically because that's the one I wanted and they said they had it asked them to put the collectors edition aside for me and they said sure. Drove 45 minutes because they were the only store that had it. Got to the counter and they pull out the regular game. Why would you blatantly lie to me to get me to come to the store? Then they have 0 luck finding me help at any other location.

Each store, though generalized in it's corporate identity, is as unique and individual as it's employees. This is one of the few gems in GameStop's hat and is a pleasure to shop at.

The people are super friendly and you can have a nice solid conversation with them. They are very happy to assist with your shopping and they are very knowledgeable.

This is our one stop game shop. Don't expect to get much on trades (you never get much no matter where you go) but used games are a bargain most of the time. I'd imagine it's worth it if you have a stack of games you absolutely don't play anymore, something's better than nothing. I don't go there to sell, I go there to buy. Used.

Picked up a two year old Madden game for two bucks. Yes please.
I don't need the lastest everything brand new for $60-$70.

I have been going to GameStop for a long time spent thousands of dollars there I hope to God that they are going to be there for the next 5 or 10 years because I've been hearing rumors that they're getting rid of GameStop and going digitally through Sony and Microsoft and that's going to suck but I hope to God like I said that came stopped going to be around for the next 10 years.

The staff always seem to have a love for gaming, which makes talking about what game, or video game merchandise you want with them very pleasant. During the month of April, me and my father went to GameStop to get Pokémon: Let's Go Eevee, And the workers suggested that with my change I should buy some Pokemon cards!: D it may be weird, but the best part about coming to this place is for SURE the extremely friendly workers!

Came to this Gamestop as a last resort in trying to find a game franchise that was impossible to get. The workers were very sweet! They knew exactly what I was looking for and even ordered the game for me straight from the werehouse, which no other store I went to offered to do. The game came the next day which really impressed me!

Absolutely perfect! The staff are amazingly friendly and go above and beyond for customers. Love coming here!

I went to great clips and got my cut and if u donated ur hair then they cut it for free and I loved my cut

I wouldn't recommend selling your games or systems to them. I just go there for the used games.

Friendly staff, lots of inventory, very helpful. Didn't push you to get anything extra but still did a great job at informing us of the latest equipment and what's worth getting.

These guys at this particular store are some of the most ignorant, arrogant, stuck up, game stop associates I have ever met. Save yourself good quality life expectancy and go to Walmart or the GameStop in North Olmsted.

Rude staff! One of them mocked me and gave bad information while the other one laughed. No thanks, will never go to this location again and odds are will never give this company my business again.

They are being stupid by putting the Steven universe mini figures in a glass case THEY'RE LITERALLY CALLED MYSTERY FIGURES. Not let's open the box and ruin ever little fan girls heart it doesn't help that I love Steven universe and broke my heart that you ruined the suprize for me and every fan. GET MORE IN THE SHOP. You are the worst GameStop in the world AND I MEAN WORLD

All of the staff there has always been exceptional and very friendly. Would recommend that GameStop over others in the area. Great management and employees.
