G.A.R. Hall reviews
8The Dave Mayfield Parade Christmas Extravaganza was the best show. Never a dull moment. G. A. R. Hall was an amazing historic quaint venue.
Wonderful, small venue for music shows. They host a Voices in the Valley series that promotes folk and bluegrass style music.
While it is being redone to have ADA bathrooms, it's not quite there yet and the stairs to the bathrooms in the basement could be difficult to navigate for some people.
This was a private event for my daughter's boyfriend it was local music and song writing artist.
Great venue with tons of history. The new addition and extra seating will make it all the better!
Love the G. A. R. Hall! We've been there several times for concerts, and will be back in the future. If you like old, restored buildings, you'll love this one!
Great place for small intimate venues. Not a bad seat in the house, a bar and a night watching Peter Rowan.you can't go wrong! Especially when you get into a sold out show with no tickets! Thank ya'll!
To say this is a musical treasure would be an understatement.as special as it gets. Thank you for keeping music alive!
This is a great place to listen to live music. The staff here goes out of their way to find talented artists from all over the country. The food and drinks are great and everything is priced reasonably. We have seen Sarah Jarosz here and at the Kennedy Center in DC, this was the better venue for her show, much more personal and more often than not, you can meet the artists after the show. The building is a historic hall which was originally used by the Grand Army of the Republic to honor civil war veterans. The decor is to period and there are many interesting photos hanging on the walls. Their website has details on upcoming shows and tickets, do yourself a favor and check this place out.
