Garfield park Red oak shelter reviews
12The metro park police harassment is at its highest. I've called and spoke to the Sargent but to no prevail. These creeps ride around and imagine they're in a zombie apocalypse or something, when they approach you they approach you like their doing a sting. It's absolutely ridiculous and I'm making the public aware through this outlet and I am also reaching out to the department and telling them my concerns as well. This park is here for the people not to be controlled by the public servants who are paid to keep the peace not to investigate and identify the park patrons.
We had a family picnic. It was peaceful and we had a ball. No fights arguments or overbearing music. The bathrooms weren't disgusting. All and all a great time.
Great little spot located in Garfield Park reservation. Plenty of walking paths in the area. Great place to picnic. Has a pavilion and a new pavilion is just been completed.
Nice shelter. Portable Pots. Playground. Huge field for all types of activities. Great place for birthday, baby shower, any gathering.
The Garfield Reservation Red Oak Shelter is the place where we had our Class Reunion. Every year they sponsor this is a combined effort of every class from the 1950's through the last class for our East High School Alumni. It was "fantastic! " And I hope everyone will survive another year and try to keep it going. Until we meet again. EAST HIGH, EAST HIGH, EAST HIGH! East High School Blue BOMBERS Alumnus
It was simply wonderful. The weather was beautiful and the Red Oak Shelter was excellent. It's a beautiful area and we had a great time.
Attended a Gender Reveal Celebration. The Pavilion was clean with an adequate amount of trash receptacles. Very nice venue for outdoor activities.
It was outstanding. Had fun. I had my Repass for my Wife funeral services there. It was clean and relaxing. I will definitely be visiting again. Many other families and events was going on at same time. Everyone enjoying themselves.
Shelter and area were clean. Plenty of trash/and recycle containers! I lo e the Metroparks!
A great nature park to enjoy a relaxing walk.
It's full of nature. Their public restrooms are now open.
Grew up in Garfield hts. I remember when they switched to metropark. Stuff for the kids to do and looks like they are making more improvements and additions.
