Gather at the Lakes Event Venue, Akron OH

Lovely flexible venue with easy in / easy out, nice restrooms and some of the best chili I've ever had not cooked by me! Would definitely investigate this if I needed to host an event.

Nice venue which can be dressed up or down, depending on the need. Vegetarian, bean, and meat Chili's were all good. I mixed beef and bean and it was great. This isn't a thin, tomato chunk chili, but thicker chile forward, richly flavored, not hot chili.
Pierogi and sour cream and sausage. Sausage was fine. Finely ground which isn't my fave but nicely grilled coins. The pogies, on the other hand, were obviously hand made and really nice.
Staff kind and helpful. If you need a venue for anything from a party to a reception to a wake, I'd urge you to consider them. And while "the lakes" seems far away, it's 20 mins from west Akron. Just like everywhere in Akron.

I cannot say enough about Gather at the lakes and all of their staff. We were married here 10/20/2023 and it was a fairytale. The event coordinators went above and beyond to make the entire day run smoothly, they were more than accommodating. We received so many compliments on the venue itself as well as the staff! Thank you so much to the entire gather team, you made our day absolutely perfect!

We attended a wedding at this venue and I thought it was a very nice place to have a smaller gathering. The lighting and setup was really cool. It looked like they had a lot of cool places outside for taking pictures as well.

Erin and all of the staff at Gather absolutely outdid themselves. On the best day of our lives we were so glad to have such a great team making everything run smoothly. Erin put our mind to ease and is a top notch professional.

The venue is BEAUTIFUL. It is so dreamy and not only was it my dream venue but we got so many compliments on how much all of our guests loved the venue too.

I’m so sad my wedding is over, but I would recommend Gather at the Lakes 1000x over!

My son and daughter in law were married at Gather of the Lakes this past weekend, 10/7/23. The venue was beyond beautiful! The lights, the flowers, the displays… everything! The food was amazing – that chicken and pasta! Wow. The chef and team outdid themselves! Kudos to the bartender as well for his prompt and courteous service to all of our guests. The staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant and on top of everything! They made it look effortless. The overall event was a dream come true, not only for the bride and groom, but for me as well. I would’ve wanted nothing less for my son and his beautiful bride. So THANK YOU! Thank you to all of you who worked tirelessly to make this wedding as wonderful as it was! It was truly a team effort and it showed!

We attended a wedding! The ceremony was at the edge of the woods and was so magical!
The landscaping around the reception hall was beautiful!
Lovely foyer and the reception room has a pergola in it which was lit up with faerie lights! Gorgeous!
Food was wonderful and so was the service!

Erin and her staff were awesome! The day did not go as planned do to the weather. Erin and her team did everything in their power to accommodate my daughter's wishes. They had to move the ceremony indoors and it was beautiful. I can't thank them enough for all of their hard work to make my daughter's day special. They are a great group of people!

Brynna, Erin, Jake and the entire team of staff at GAther executed our vision for our wedding on June 9th extremely well.

What on earth can I say about Gather. I can't find the words to express how truly wonderful, special, and magical they are. They gave my husband and I the most PERFECT experience for our wedding day. We are so grateful for the staff - Erin, Brenna, Jake, Allison, and more - for working like such a well-oiled machine to make our day so special. Every staff member at Gather truly has your best interest at heart. They do everything they can to make your day exactly what you want and need. We were just so blown away by our experience at Gather. They coordinated with us starting so far in advance, they recommended vendors that were exactly what we wanted, and when the day came we had absolutely NO worries in the world. Because of their expertise and professionalism, we were able to just enjoy our day and focus on each other. We cannot recommend them highly enough. If I could give them more than 5 stars, I would. Book your wedding/event here - you will NOT regret it!

Had the pleasure of attending a baby shower at this lovely event space.the staff was very helpful and friendly.really beautiful place!

Recently attended my cousins baby shower at Gather at the Lakes Event Venue. Everything looked so beautiful and picture worthy. An instagram dream! It was really a beautiful event. I also snuck back to the woodsy wedding ceremony space in the back because I had seen photos of it but WOW, what a spot to see in person. The reveal door is amazing and all the natural features made me want to get married again thinking of all the possibilities.

Wow! Erin and her staff made my wedding day the best day ever! All staff was so friendly and helpful! It had rained all day to about 45 minutes before my ceremony and Erin has plan b, c and d ready for me to pick if it hadn’t stopped. When it finally did stop raining the staff had the space decorated and ready in time and it was beautiful!

I know for a fact that my smooth running day wouldn’t have been possible if I hadn’t booked here. The food was amazing. The space is beautiful and the coordinators are impressive. We booked all inclusive and most things in our centerpieces were borrowed from Gather. Saved us so much time and money.
If you’re on the fence about booking here, do it! You will not regret having this place or its staff apart of your wedding day!

My friends had their 50th wedding anniversary party at "Gather at the Lakes" and it was spectacular!
