I had my ford C-6 transmission rebuilt by Mr. Farah, s excellent builders using their highest quality parts. I had it installed in my truck, and it ran awesome. Then it broke. I blamed Mr. Farah, s men.but.it was totally my fault. I made the mistake of putting on a external Trans filter that restricted the transmission fluid flow. It melted the Sprague. I had it rebuilt using all Mr. Farah, s parts, and just a heavy duty Transmission cooler and it runs AWESOME. I highly recommend Gear star transmission for all types of transmissions. And dealing with Mr. Farah is great.thank you Mr. Farah and your AWESOME professional builders.

I have personally toured the gearstar shop many times, and have also met all the staff. The owner Zack, and his staff have an awesome operation here. Hand built, custom, bullet proof transmissions and converters are thier specialty. These guys make a great product and really have unmatched quality. Very happy with the transmissions I have purchased from them, and will continue to buy in the future!

I mainly dealt with Zack who helped make sure I was staying under my budget and getting the best possible price. The product itself came super fast and the packaging exceeded my expectations. It was in a large crate to make sure no damage occurred during shipping. The quality of the product is also top knotch. I highly recommend the turbo 350 stage 4 and Gearstar in general.

Ordered from them new transmission complete package 4R70We, 4 units.transmission works perfect.we installed them with our 427 engines street/strip tune.shift smoothly.even when you shift from neutral to drive/reverse it doesn't jump or kick.and their customer service is outstanding, friendly and they reply in timely manner.

I found Zack and the crew at Gearstar after a friend suggested using them for a Transmission in my 700HP C10 I had built. 4 years later, I ONLY use Gearstar transmissions on my high horsepower builds because they have yet to fail on me. I routinely abuse these vehicles with massive burnouts, drag racing, off road racing, etc.and the Gearstar units take it all in stride. Customer service is second to none as well. When we needed a fully built transmission in a pinch, Zack got one out to us in CA in 2 days. TWO DAYS! That transmission is in a 1400hp Rock bouncer that sits on 53" tires and has yet to need a rebuild. Moral of the story here: these guys rule and do great work.

Gearstar rebuilt the original transmission in my 1995 Impala SS in 2008. I change the fluid every 15,000 miles and the pan is always free of debris. The car is a daily driver and I am not easy on it. It has outlasted the original transmission with no signs of wear or decreased performance. The Yank torque converter is a lot of fun as well. I absolutely got what I paid for and more.
