Geek Squad reviews
14My wife and I brought our iPhones in for battery replacements. Apple actually sent me to that store because of the location, very close to us. They were working without any issues and just wanted a new battery so would hold a charge longer. Went in at noon and throughout the day got home around 9pm after everything was said and done. They ended up breaking both our phones and gave us “like new” refurbished replacements. They tried to make right with $100 gift card to best buy because they couldn’t do anything about the 50 dollar fee to replace one battery from Apple. I never been to geek squad for any type of work but never plan on going back.
Great service, did an amazing job on my tint. The fellas working there were very informative and easy to talk to.
Outstanding customer service keep up the great work efficient and very friendly also offers financing for larger purchases the store is very clean in everybody was very friendly
I called here and they told me they didn't repair kindle fire kids edition tablets. My husband called a couple days later and was told they do. Oddly, neither person thought to tell us that best buy is a certified rethink reseller or that we should contact amazon to see if our product is still under warranty, which is was. I know it was an odd question but we got mixed answers.
So understaffed. They won’t take walk ins since there is usually only one person. Time consuming.
The Sales guy was great, but once I had to deal with Geek Squad. It SUCKED. NEVER again will I buy from Best Buy.
Best Buy Geek Squad went above and beyond to recover and transfer important documents I needed for our son's adoption. I would highly recommend them!
When my computer "died" they were able to resurrect it in one day so I was happy. They were very courteous and professional.
A quick shout out to Alan, Crystal, and Liam at the Reynoldsburg Best Buy for helping resolve Windows 10 update and helping me learn the basics for my newly purchased Mac Pro. I had to ask for help multiple times and they remained professional and calm during my frustration with these computers. Thanks you all!
I was excited to get a return phone call from the Geek Squad the same day I dropped off my computer they explained to me what the issue was, why it stopped working and what my options were. I totally recommend the Geek Squad.
By far one of the most useless services available in the computer industry. 9/10 times I bring something here it gets returned worse that what I left it. Today it took the over an hour to tell me the Stylus Pen they sold me won't work with my new laptop. After they messed with every thing now my laptop is going haywire.
I have been in IT for 15 years, my mother-in-law decided to take a laptop there to be fixed, while my wife and I were closing on a house. She didn't want to bother me with a laptop sound issue. The issue with the laptop was a disconnected main board speaker, the wire running to the board was snipped by accident during a recent repair, about a 15cent part.honestly I was just being lazy, or overwhelmed with doing other things to be bothered with the repair. My mother-in-law decided immediately that geek squad was the place to go.the machine was a Dell latitude E series, that was a fresh build a week earlier running Symantec endpoint protection, with a corp license. Geek squad immediately uninstalled it, claimed there was no installed av, they also claimed that the machine had a virus, when asked what virus, they couldn't tell me, but expected my mother-in-law to pay 364.00 for the removal, the sound they claimed was a bad main board, which it wasn't, and wanted 623.00 for the board and the installation, the machine I ended up fixing myself, total labor 20min, total cost of repair, 15cents.crooks
Teriable service. You have to call geek squad around every month. Every time they come out its 150 filler fee.
