5Not enough people to help. You have to make an appointment just to drop your computer off and they charge you $100 just to look at it. No thank you. Stick to local small time businesses. Shameful Best Buy. Geek squad used to be good when they first came out.
OMG ITS LIKE PULLING TEETH THEY KEPT SENDING TO 8 DIFFRENT PEOPLE AND NONE NEW WHAT THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT!
Smartest people I know! Seriously though, I'm am grateful for them. Remote or in store the service is excellent.
Pre-Pandemic
Had a tech from niles store come out for a boot loop issue on tv. He ordered 2 boards and one connect system. Replaced one connect system. While he replaced the power board. Tech inadvertently damaged the screen and was scratched and marked very noticeable. Tech also asked me if I had did anything and i pointed out the lever on the side of my reclining chair where he laid the unprotected screen against. Needless to say screen had to be replaced.
Post- Pandemic finally screen arrived after patiently waiting was installed first Saturday of May. Screen was showing signs of bad leds or burning in less than 24hrs. This has been ongoing. Called multiple times Techs have informed me they are over $2500 before they re-ordered all 4 boards and another screen. So to repair a $1900 tv its cost them over $2500 so far. The TV is still damaged and unacceptable for use. I also cannot allow their techs to keep coming in and out of my house during pandemic i have a toddler to think of first. Geek Squad you are a terrible company and unprofessional. You have yet to call me back and i have been disconnected from your lines so called by mistake multiple times. I have reported to best buy corporate. Dave i know you can see this as well.
Will not answer the phone, 15 minutes on hold without even speaking to a person at all.
Then called right back, to try to talk to someone in the store 10 minute hold that time.
