Avoid using this credit union and any other of their branches they are unprofessional and rude they will repo your car because they can without anyone knowing even their own attorneys they repo my vehicle because the paperwork wasn't signed correctly and they didn't give me a chance to fix it either. I'm in the process of asking other banks to take over the loan that is how frustrated I am

I have closed 3 loans with them since May. I refinanced my house in which they held the original loan. I refinanced my car in which they had the original loan for that all so and I just co-signed on a car loan for my son. All of my banking is through GE, but still the customer service from the actual loan officers is HORRIBLE! Tiffany help with the refinance of the home loan. You could email her, call and leave messages and talk with her associates, but there was no get a response from her. I think I spoke to her twice during the whole process.
The refinance of my car loan was fantastic! I believe David handles it and he did everything he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it. He blew my mind, because that is not my experience with GE.
The car loan that we are scheduled to close on now is the same. TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE customer service from the originator Cathryn Winters and the loan officer Randy. Never returned and email and I sent a total of 5 including the first one with all documentation and asked for them to shoot me an email saying they received it. Every time I called to make sure they got something or give them information, the people I spoke to were great. Noah, Patrick, and a women who I am sorry I can't remember her name. They would take the information and help with questions, but when I finally spoke with Cathryn again she asked me about things I already changed. SMH, then I would tell her I spoke with so and so and gave them the information and she was like oh, okay. Then she said she was had contacted Randy and one of them would for sure give me a call back that day. Did that happen, NO! Then the next day Randy did call back and said she was calling to set the closing at a different location than I had said. I had just given that information to Cathryn the day before?
GE has great rates and I love a lot of there programs, but if you take advantage of any of them bee prepared for Mediocre service if that.

I've been with GE Credit union since I was a teenager, I am currently 59 and bank several other credit unions.
Over the year and currently GE has given me the most terrible experience and ser.
Currently today I was locked out of there mobile while I was trying to track down information about two separate payments i made yesterday.

I'm so frustrated with them and the horrible customer service ive received to resolve these issues.

I have 2 car loans thru the credit union. I got laid off because of the Corona virus so I applied to miss 3 months of payments till my unemployment started. Ive never been in this situation before and have always made my payments in full and on time. They approved me to miss 3 months and then the next thing I'm getting collection letters in the mail for my vehicles and on top of that they messed my credit up and trying to make me pay late fees. Talk about hitting you when your already down. Very unprofessional in my book smh

The service is horrible here. Practices have changed from 7 years ago. My husband and belonged 30+ years and it's horrible. After this car they them. We NEVER want to see them again
And that's for real. There are some nice tellers but they will gauge you on loans

Whatever you do, DO NOT BANK WITH GE.

We've had nothing but bad experiences since adding a car loan with them. From double payments being made without authorization, to being charged for reversing said double payments.

Banking account information being removed and no notice or phone call received. Late fees and return check fees piling up for mistakes made by GE.

Do yourself a favor and bank with Wright Patt.

New acct inly 5 months old truck loan an bcuz of poor paperwork an double paymts an Steve Taylor im out nearly $500! Even after 5/3rd disputed it for me. NEVER WALK INTO THIS CREDIT UNION, NEVER! TELLERS R INCOMPETENT! I did nothg wrong, 100% paymt history w/credit bureau! Just checked an tooj a 60 pts negative hit. S. B.

Truly the worst banking experience I have ever had. Im not trying to be a jerk or anything. This bank is just years behind others in tech, apps, payments and customer service. I have had to use this bank for 2 different car loans from a car dealer. I will not use them again.

I used them for my car loan because they had the lowest interest rate. That was a mistake. Their online system is terrible. It got so much worse when they updated it a few years ago. Constantly says my password is wrong. When I go to change it, they never actually send the reset password email. Try to chat online or send them a secure email and I get a web page error.

Next time I will just pay more interest with another bank to avoid the headache.

Can't call in, my credit card pymt to any office or even on the 800 number listed on the card.no one can explain why.they won't change my due date and I get paid once a month.cannot resolve this at all.

Poor customer Communications very unfriendly Bankers at the counter service had very unpleasant attitude mishandled my procedure did not receive receipt are explanations for the miscommunication I will never do any sort of banking are supporting this institute

My friend got approved for a loan through them, and when he went to go cash the check.the bank said it was fake and tried charging him with fraud. 3 COUNTS OF IT! YES LETS GET PEOPLE ARRESTED FOR YOU! IS THIS EVEN A REAL COMPANY?

I absolutely can’t stand this place They have lost my paperwork twice with my social and everything on it they continue to take money out of my account after the fact I have filled out all the paperwork to have a stop payment put on my account would not recommend this place to anyone

Customer service was absolutely horrible. I had called for a simple question and was directed to the appropriate department through their automated system on the phone. I then sat on hold, was referred to a different department where I sat on hold for another 10 minutes, only to find out that they were just going to refer me back to the original number I called. They never answered my original question and they are not organized.

The car I had financed through them was totaled. They sent the loan to collections before the insurance paid on it. I was always on time with payments and I had called and told them it was totaled. Then they sent one of their attorneys after me before GAP paid it off because we were waiting on them to send in their paperwork. I have had several cars financed through them, not anymore.

I will never work with this company again. Was sent to collections after consistently making payments on a vehicle that they failed to mention they changed their account numbers so none of my payments were accepted (after 8 months of accepting the payments prior). In turn, this has led to my credit being affected (have had great credit for years), them charging me late fees, and countless hours spent on the phone with a collector who was little to no help. The collector has provided me with 3 different account numbers to date because he has no clue what the correct account should be listed as. He also gave me excuse after excuse each time I've called as to why I was never notified of my account number changing in addition to blaming my bank for various issues. I have ave tried to get a hold of a manager and they never answer the phone and consistently prompt you to leave a voicemail. This company should not even be in business with this type of crooked operation that they are running and sub par customer service.

I have had an auto loan with GECU since July of 2013. GECU has been a very good lender but I do wish the Credit Union had more convenient hours.

If you liked your banking in 1995, these guys are great!
Poorly maintained websites and apps.plenty of paper and face to face time needed to complete anything more complicated than making loan payments.

Applied for a credit card 4 weeks ago, but still waiting to receive anything (my credit is excellent). The last credit card I applied for from AMEX was delivered to my house within 2 days - it may be an unfair comparison, but 4 weeks is ridiculous. Very friendly, but incompetent staff. Not sure if I should continue doing business with this bank.
