Gentile's Bakery - Catering - Deli, Parma OH

1ST time here, and I don't know how I missed this place! They have a great selection of deli, desserts, and bread! Got, my favorite, Cannoli, super fresh.they fill them right after ordering, so they stay cripsy! I will be going back soon for bread and deli and, of course, desserts
Update: I ordered pizza, more cannoli, bread, and some deli. OMG, the pizza was super delecious! It's absolutely the best pizza here! I've tried so many pizza restaurants; none had that crispy delecious crust nor a perfect delecious pizza sauce, here you get both! The Italian bread and baguette are crispy on the top and super soft inside, Delecious! Look how many times I said "delecious" in this post!

If your in the neighborhood stop in, you will not be disappointed. They have great food ready to eat there or to go.

Great subs, pizza, baked goods. Excellent Italian deli. Friendly and courteous staff. The expresso is divine.

Was just driving in the neighborhood and came across this gem. Authentic Italian market. The sub, eggplant parm and pizza were excellent. Very reasonable prices.

Great Italian deli and bakery. Not everything is good, but when you find your wheelhouse, it's consistently delicious

Great clod cut selections from import areas. Mostly Italian however great selection of bakery goods. All fresh and some are available in the coolers. There is center isles with dry goods and oils. There are delicious chocolates with hazelnuts and some with almonds. The wine selection is small but good for a quick grab to take home with fresh breads. I like this store and the service Was very good. The deli makes all kinds of fresh sandwiches as well. Definitely stop in and spend some money on great goodies.

Best pizza and bread I have had in a long time. A must try.also check out the lunch meat and cheese.

Gentile's Bakery, Catering & Deli has a great selection of Deli, Bakery, Prepared Foods and Italian Groceries (including Wine). Check out the crown on this cake. Whipped Creme, Strawberries and Chocolate slivers.

I also sampled a slice of pizza and got a huge Italian baguette.

Gentile's is a Beautiful Italian Bakery. I often go here for lunch. They have everything from home made sauce to wine and even a Deli! The workers are always nice and helpful, wether your trying to impress a date by cooking something amazing or just trying to grab a bite to eat Gentile's will have all your Italian needs! I highly recommend

We ordered two pasta & meatball dinners which came with salad and garlic bread. The quality was excellent, the portions generous and the pricing competitive! We are extremely pleased! Well done! Cannot wait to order again!

Abysmal Italian Wedding Soup. Almost entirely devoid of flavor. Flavorless broth; like water. The greens were not Escarole (as they should be) but what appeared to be Romaine lettuce. The texture/appearance/color being very much like lettuce; very bright green! Even after trying to doctor it up at home, I would up disposing of it after my second bite.
Very disappointed. Especially considering that most of the other items that I’ve tried her were very good.
Do better Gentilies.
Especially if you’re going to charge $11 a quart.

I was visiting Parma, Ohio and decided to shop at Gentile’s as recommended. I bought a slice of pizza and then headed to the deli section and politely and respectfully asked for 1/2 pound of mortadella. Unfortunately, the woman scornfully responded with an unfriendly and short response “Yes” making me feel I was bothering her. She asked which type I wanted and I still responded respectfully but she made a sour face as she grabbed the mortadella to cut it. What did I do wrong to her? After she handed me the deli meat, I went to pay at the register and the young man rang up my items but saw my box holding the pizza slice I already paid for and curtly asked “What’s in there? ”, forgetting he had already rung up the pizza about 10 minutes earlier. I asked myself again: What did I do wrong? I realized the answer when I walked out: Being a customer at Gentile’s. Please be nice to the customers who pay a lot of money to shop there! Additional note: Beware - everything is pricey at Gentile’s! I later saw a few of the same items (same brand name) at a Polish Deli with lower prices.

Love this place so much. My grandmother used to take me when I was little and they were in Cleveland. I continue to go to this day. All the food is amazing.
