George Rogers Clark Park reviews
12Went for the "fair at new boston" always a fun time. Great to see the many reproduction 18th century items
Nice well maintained trails for all hiking skill levels. Pond you can fish from with a dock. Nature playground for kids.
Visited on 10-9-22 to photograph a family, trees are starting to change colors. By next weekend they should be fully changed.
It's a getaway from the city. It's far enough to enjoy nature and learn a thing or two. It's 9/10 clean but you know how it goes, always one. Enjoy the waterfall, fishing, and trails. Be respectful though, it's one of our nicest places in the county and we'd all like to keep it that way.
The Boston Fair is hosted there annually. It is a historically re-enacted event that has wares, performances by story tellers, musicians, and more. It is a family atmosphere, but you can still have grub and pub.
Very nice quiet park, wonderful trails to hike.
Labor day weekend is the fair at new Boston.
Went here for the fair at New Boston. What a fabulious experience for our first time. We didn't have time to fully explore so we will definitely be returning. The Scottish Eggs were Delicious.
The fair at new Boston is always fun. Hats off to all those people who work so hard to be as authentic as possible. Had a surprisingly delicious cup of corn chowder. Who would have though corn chowder could have been that good. I will never hear or see corn chowder and not think of that cup ever again. Go if ya get a chance. (Only bad down side the parking lot is waist high weeds and a million crickets and grasshoppers)
We rented a shelter house for graduation party, was nice and secluded! Grass could have used cutting but overall it was really nice with a bridge, access to fishing and trails! Good price!
We enjoy participating in programs facilitated by Clark County Parks volunteers and employees. There's a good number of trails at this park, large fishing pond and a nature playground.
Really nice park, wonderful place for photoshoots and has a decent amount of Pokestops if you are interested in that:)
Our family has enjoyed George Rogers since my husband was riding a bike to fish here now our daughter runs the trail back to the water fall herself and our children catch the same fish as we all do!
