3Mary Ann does an amazing job tailoring each class for her clients. She makes class fun, enjoyable, encourages us throughout the workout and makes sure we are using proper form. It is a class with just women and the ladies at the class become like family because the class size is small. I highly recommend taking classes from Mary Ann at Get Hooked Fitness.
Mary Ann really knows her stuff! These 30 minutes lessons are great for cardio, learning real kickboxing technique and having fun. If you are looking for a quick and effective work out, look no further, Get Hooked Fitness is for real because you will get hooked on the muscle tone in your arms and core after just a few weeks of classes. Mary Ann is also super supportive, a great trainer and provides you with all the tools needed to get into kickboxing.and get good at it. I started out as a beginner and was worried about conditioning my knuckles and now I'm punching like a pro. Another benefit, you can do it online or at her in-home studio. It's nice because I'm weary of gyms and germs right now so her in-home studio is perfect and gives me a peace of mind that it is safe and sanitary. Another plus is the super reasonable pricing and access to unlimited classes. Signing up with Mary Ann was the best move I made to achieve my fitness goals and overall well-being during a stressful pandemic. And even when the pandemic is over, I'll still be kickboxing in Mary Ann's basement!
Until I tried boxing, I hated exercise. I never understood people who looked forward to running, or going to the gym. It sounded ludicrous to me.
Boxing changed me. When I have a rough day at work or am stressed, I look forward to class. I am physically stronger (guns!) and more confident. It’s a complete workout: mind and body.
Maryanne creates a completely comfortable ‘girls only’ environment and focuses on challenging us but making it fun.
I’m honestly not sure how I’d be coping this year without it. It’s one of the best gifts I’ve ever given myself.
