I have been a loyal GE customer since they opened at this location.
Tonight was the final straw with Howe Ave Cuyahoga Falls pharmacy. I went to pick up my prescriptions, after waiting in line at the drive thru 75 minutes, as the 5th car, I get up to window and the guy is mumbling can barely hear him, until it came time to give me total amounts. I question the price and ask if it was sent through my insurance? That's WAY more than I have been charged previously. He assures me that it went though and that amount is my co-pay.that my 2nd rx is the " expensive one" ($10) then wants to argue with me about it. This is something I need to have so I call my insurance company to question why the big jump? I'm on hold, so i pull through so others waiting behind can get their items. My insurance tells me IT IS NOT COVERED I HAVE NO CO-PAY, that's full price. To use Good RX as a 90 day supply is only 15$ (For which GE was wanting $309). OR I can get the over-the counter equivalent.
The kid argues with me and lies about it going through insurance telling me their price is my co- pay, and I can only get a 30 day supply not the 90 it was written for- per my insurance.that DID NOT GO THROUGH INSURANCE.
Tired of dealing with clueless 20 yr old's that want to argue.
Last month a inhaler I am on was renewed, I watched the Dr write in DAW for brand name, what do I get? The generic - which does NOT work and has side effects for me that brand does not. I was more than willing to pay the difference as I have in the past, however one of the 20ish yr old's they have working there decided my insurance wont cover as much of that, it is now in the system as generic can be dispensed. AT THE SAME PRICE AS BRAND!
The previous month, a member of my families rx was also overcharged because of the way it was put in the system but they had already gone though the drive through and given the card BEFORE they were told how much it was, again with the person at window being a 20 some yr old that only took the cards asked for date of birth rang it up then handed out the rx & receipt.
Nope I am done. I'm tired of a bunch of inexperienced 20 yr old's that obviously don't know what they're doing arguing with me, the customer service skills are non -existent. Their prices are ridiculous.
I truly feel sorry for the elderly, that have lousy insurance that use this place, they dont mention any coupons and refuse to take them if you have any type of insurance.

This is the slowest pharmacy I've ever had to use. The staff is usually friendly and professional but if you go to the drive thru you may find yourself waiting for a good minute. More staff is needed for sure and better efforts need to be made to accommodate the increase of people using the drive thru.

This location needs to either build for another lane or have prescriptions ran out like the pickup is for groceries. Lines at times are too long and dangerous. Too much traffic to try to make a long line. Employees are friendly but GE needs to do better if they want RX business!

Absolutely hate this pharmacy would give zero stars if it was an option. You could have one car in front of you and it will usually take five plus minutes. The line gets so long it occasionally blocks the traffic trying to navigate around the plaza and Home Ave.

Initially the staff was very fast and very kind. The male dark haired technician is very nice! There are some female technicians who are very incompetent. The blonde one is always confused and doesn’t like to help you when you ask for it. The short dark-haired female pharmacist is not pleasant to deal with, as are 90% of the staff. The pharmacy staff does not remember their patients, so not much quality care goes on. Very strict and great at pissing people off as well.

This pharmacy is terrible at following through on prescription refills. For example, my doctor denied a refill last week and neither my doctor nor this pharmacy contacted me. Asthma medicine is pretty important to have refilled. This is not the first instance of such poor service.

The pharmacy is way understaffed and the techs all seem so frazzled and and stressed. I don't like the way they talk to me but I'm not blaming them. I'm sure it's from years of constant understaffing, low pay and customers being rude. Giant Eagle corp needs to get it together and get these people some help.

Awesome experience with this pharmacy. Calling in your prescription to be filled ahead of time usually leaves you with no 30 minute wait.

The female pharmacist there with shorter brown hair is awful. She should honestly be fired she is rude and unprofessional and I will never go back because of her.

I have not experienced any issue, customer service with a smile isn't always there but that's not an issue with me.

The pharmacy is terrible. I waited on hold on the phone for 30 minutes and drove there to see if I could get assistance in person. I was still on hold when I arrived and barely got an apology for them forgetting that they did that. They didn't have my prescription ready and were rude about it. They left me with no answers. I spoke with my doctor who confirmed that they called it into this location over a week ago. Still the pharmacy had no answers for me. They later called me to tell me that it got put into the wrong folder and that I would need to wait until Monday to call my doctor to have them confirm something on it. I have never been to such a terrible pharmacy with such poor customer service. I have been waiting to get this filled for well over a week at this point. Find a different pharmacy if you want to get anything filled especially if you depend on it to live your life.

There are a few really good techs, but they must be understaffed because there's always a ridiculous wait.
