Giant Eagle Supermarket reviews
19 Well you probably know everything about Giant Eagle, so not much to review.
Nice clean store.
Its the only one i go to. Clean and friendly service, did a bang up job on my grand daughters 1st bday cake.
Giant Eagle isn't bad but I think there prices are too high. I do like the fresh market items, deli and bakery.
No longer have to wear masks! Also you don't have to worry about walking through wrong door or down the wrong isles! Very Nice!
HEALTH DEPT. NOTIFIED.
The people there are disgruntled and rude. I told the deli woman there was a hunk of meat in the window that looked discolored and slimy and she says "ew ya, I should probably take that out". No I'm sorry or thank you. A guy named Bill behind the deli counter and around all the food has a scraggly beard and on multiple occasions was not wearing a beard net. I notified the health dept. It's THAT bad.
Nice staff, the pharmacy staff is wonderful! I received both of my covid-19 vaccines here and they were courteous, well organized and made me feel at ease. Appreciate them!
Had 2 carts full and no one to help push one! Would have been nice to have had help! One person that worked there did walk behind me - no offer to help even though he saw me struggling. He stood outside the whole time watching me - then walked back in - maybe he said he was helping but he didn't! Store is small and cramped - people aren't the friendliest neither. Meat selection sucks! Not much to chose from. Wasn't happy with my experience.
They don't have all the bells and whistles like some of their larger stores but they will have mostly what you may need.
My wife received her 1st Covid vaccine administration from the pharmacy staff at this Giant Eagle location today. The pharmacy staff were to a person cordial, helpful, and extremely accommodating and supportive through the vaccination process. They represent Giant Eagle with integrity and professionalism, and should be commended.
Each time I have went the customer service desk is closed. No matter the time of day and getting someone to help you is impossible since their staff is limited. Selection on products is poor and the store is small, cramped and out dated. I will drive over an hour away by where I just moved from and go to any other Giant Eagle location there than go to this one which is less that a mile from me.
I'm a senior citizen and take meds for breathing. I shop early or late to avoid crowds. I used to buy from the bakery and hot foods but since restrictions and store changes that has stopped.
But the other day a man at the deli counter basically chased me down 30 feet away to intimidate me to putting my scarf back up. There was no one else around. I took it down shortly to regain some air.
If they had curbside pick-up I would use that, but they don't. $10 delivery charge for milk and some sausage is a bit much I think.
Going just take my business across the street.
Filthy store and even filthier restrooms. Remember, these are the restrooms that employees are using and then touching your food.
So proud of my daughter taking such good care of a last minute shopper. Way to go Megan Sturgill!
They have a very friendly staff. They are always knowledgeable, kind and willing to help. The lines usually are not too long at this location. They offer curbside pickup, whether for grocery or pharmacy. They have hot food options, bakery, deli, meat department (get to know your meat cutters. They can improve your meals and knowledge greatly)!
Usually a good experience. I would say great, but the prices are always a little bit too high. We usually only buy sale or off-brand items.
This is my favorite grocery store. I know when I’m buying from Giant Eagle the products will be of high quality and freshness. I love how I can use the self-checkout. I’ve done it so much I’ve memorized the produce bar codes. This store is always clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I will drive out of my way to shop at this store. Giant Eagle offers points on their advantage card for every dollar spent. It adds up quickly and I save hundreds of dollars a year using their “perks”. Shopping here is satisfaction guaranteed!
The check out was horrible. Only 2 cashier's open. Lines all the way back to the back of the store. Not sure why only 2 cashier's on a Saturday afternoon.
Annie from the bakery was leaving after her shift was over to ask if we needed help and we said we needed a cake to be decorated for a birthday. We told her Please don’t worry about it because we saw that she was leaving for the night, but she went back behind the bakery and wrote on our cake and saved the day! Thank you so much!
