Giant Eagle Supermarket, Akron OH

Had to look for what I wanted asked for some help and was told they had no idea where the item was.

Usually a great store for fresh fruit and vegetables. But this time the tomato and the watermelon were so rotten inside the outsides were very nice they must have been frozen or something on their delivery I wouldn't suggest going there anytime soon until they're back in season.

This location horrible wait time get people some chairs especially the elderly and I mean horrible. If you are ok with standing in line for about 15 min of your life time just to get started at ringing up your groceries. I dont feel right about this peticular Giant Eagle not at all I dont like having to go to it.

Order a cake from the bakery for my daughter 2nd birthday. The cake was dry and NASTY’ the frosting was hard as a rock and no type of moist at all. I asked for balloons, shimmers and flowers over the cake and it was nothing of the sort. I’ll never use their bakery again. Was better off going to Walmart

VERY clean store. I've never met a worker who was not helpful. They go out of their way to find what you are looking for. GREAT STORE!

Very nice store they have good produce and some good meat sales if you watch their ads. They are a little more expensive, but just watch the sales and you'll be ready.

Clean establishment offering many grocery items from fresh fruits, veggies, cold, frozen items, hot foods, seafoods, meats, cheeses, desserts and more! Floral dept. Liquor store, wines, beers and many other spirits to choose from! Friendly staff. Perishable and non perishable items. Lottery ticket sales and service. Good customer services. Hook yourself up with their membership card, it's free and you can start saving even more so! Highly recommend this location to others. My favorite Giant Eagle store in Akron. Love the freshness of the meat department. Food kinda expensive but if you know shop on sale you'll be fine. I'm loving the perks, it use to be for just gas but now you can use on food as well.

If Giant Eagle would stop rearranging the store it wouldn't take me so long to find the things I need. The store was well stocked and the employees are very helpful.

I'm surprised as big of a chain stores the are at the lack of variety in this store. And for some reason the lighting was not pleasant. Sorry just saying as I see it. And I'm not a complainer by nature.

I was 10th in line at the 12 items or less and the line was even longer for self service to the point where it was a fire hazard. No one was called up front to help the cashiers bag or add another cashier or open more self service line. The Chex Mix was on sale 10 for 10 get one free but you only have three flavors. Yoo-hoo in glass bottles at the front of the store why can't you buy cans? I've asked this before and everybody just shrunk. Thank you for letting me share my experience next time I'll take pictures but hopefully there won't be a next time

I ran in for a gift card and Justin, the team lead, noticed I only had that and, although, there were plenty of lives open, the store was just busy. He stopped scanning and organizing and took me over to floral to check me out. I was in & out in 10 min. Awesome customer service!

As always, great cashier. She was so sweet. The younger employees are the greatest. Polite, great work ethic and all around, great kid's who want to work

I had a gift card I was able to use for gas. I been in this store 3 times and everytime I go no crowded lines waiting forever. Thank God. The prices are amazing and the employees are amazing I get hit with a smile. Even from other shoppers. Gotta love it.

Giant Eagle is always clean and well stocked. However I never have a pleasant shopping experience here. The lines are always long and there's usually only 1 human-run register open. It's been years since I've seen a hand basket in there, which is a shame, since navigating a shopping cart in there is difficult unless the store is super slow.

We love giant eagle! The gas and pout program is phenomenal! They have everything we need. Store layout is generally user friendly! People who work there are lovely and kind.
