Giant Eagle Supermarket, Youngstown OH

This pĺace was clean, they had great deals, always someone to help you if needed and very nice also. Prices where great for what you get for your buck. They had everything in stock. Easy checkout. Couldn't go wrong in this place. You need to watch the ads to catch the sales on this place.

I just tried to pick up the Veterinarian Dr's paper prescription that Giant Eagle could not fill and there was 1 person waiting on the counter. Woman in front of me needed a covid shot and couldn't tell this one customer service rep what she wanted. Instead of asking her to step aside I pntinued to wait. Finally I had to ask for it. I was told he'd be right with me. There were 7 people in the pharmacy and 1 person handling the counter!? Then I wanted to purchase 1 dozen eggs and of course all the full service registers were busy.no express check out either. I refuse to use self checkout cause Giant Eagle is eliminating jobs! Half the t I me self checkouts don't work for some reason too. It's not the answer to Good Service.

There is a weird smell in the store main isles, like not clean. Nice selection of products I enjoy finding hard to find items here, they usually have what other stores don't.

I know it's Giant Eagle but they do carry some things that other stores don't as far as speciality foods and ingredients. Plus their produce looks great all the time.

An employee at this location stole my Giant Eagle perks. When I confronted the store about it they were dismissive. Be very careful of the thieves at this location.

Only stopped here to get a money order.since my job don't have them anymore, An no moreOr bill pay

Do not like the new checkout setup. I do not use self service checkouts, and do not like being forced to put cash into a machine at the assisted checkout. Will only shop here for specific things from now on.

The new self check out process is awful. Hardly any workers to help. The lines for those that want a person to check them out are so long. Need to go back to Sparkles for personal service!

Awesome store. The staff at this giant eagle is friggin amazing. So friendly and helpful and most times I'm in there it seems everyone is happy we really enjoy this giant eagle. Keep up the great work

This place is always insanely busy. The workers there are always trying hard as well as kind and respectful.

VERY VERY EXPENSIVE UNLESS YOU GET FOODCARD, OR USE COUPONS OR THERES A SALE THAT WEEK! HA YEAH U GET FUEL PERKS, BUT YOUR BASICALLY PAYING 10 CENTS MORE FOR EA. ITEM OR MORE TO GET THE PERKS, SO YOU TELL ME? THEY GET U EITHER WAY, GIANT EAGLE JUST MAKES UP A WAY TO MAKE THE CUSTOMERS BELIVE THEIR GETTING SOME GREAT DEAL, NOT.

Giant Eagle has small cans of vegetables* perfect for a single person. They have a fresh meat and seafood counter.
And their produce department is always well stocked with a wide variety of fruit and vegetables.
They also have premade food that is refrigerated. (I can buy those with my SNAP card)
They have real live cashiers and self checkout.
And there's plenty of places to park in there lot. And it's easy and convenient to get in and out
of their location.
