Giant Eagle Supermarket, Rocky River OH

Just did a flashfood and beer pickup. Service from front end was great. Didn't wander the store, but looks like it might be worth it. Only issue was the build your own 6 pack boxes were nowhere to be found, but the staff were quick to rectify the problem. Pretty good beer selection at reasonable prices

Understaffed. Incredibly long lines. Deli, Bakery counters always closed 1hr before stated. Awful store. Charge $1.50 for 1 paper bag. Go to Heinens and be treated like a real customer.

Overcrowded, understaffed, be prepared to wait in a long check out line for at least 30 mins

Too few check out lines open, considering the crowd; but, everyone was very friendly and they had almost everything that I needed in stock!

It's giant eagle, you know what your getting there.the stocker teenagers are awesome, most of the shoppers are very rude and ignorant.especially today.check dates, decent specials, always crowded

It's okay, but there are long long lines, only one cashier working and paper bags that they charge you for. The only place in town, besides CVS, that don't have plastic bags. G. E.is worried about "the environment", but don't care about the tons of trees that are needed to make those paper bags that they are charging people for. Also, they need to teach their cashiers how to BAG GROCERIES. It's not MY job, I'm not getting a percentage off my total bill to bag my own groceries. I'm seriously considering not shopping there anymore

I've been using visa gift card for any purchases everywhere have used $ on gas since November of 2021 save a ton of money

I was just in self checkout with my partner. He was behind me, but we shared a cart. We pay separately so it's 2 separate orders. I had 11 items and he had 12. Again, we're 2 separate people paying separately so it's 2 separate transactions. The self checkout guy came over and said, "too many items! " Loud enough for the rest of the line to hear and think we're breaking the rules- I laughed bc I'm like, is he serious? Embarrassing. Even if we didn't share a cart we would have been in line one after the other so it's not like we held up the line. You really need to calm down. I won't be returning.

Hey family this is a nice and well stock Giant Eagles. This store due to the selections they have almost put you in the mind of their stores District Market.
The store was well stock clean and customer service friendly. We really enjoy shopping here

Usually good though on occassion staffing is inadequate. Hope the store rebounds with the hot prepared food which has been slowly served my prior visits. Counter person checks food temperatures religiously though after 2: 00 or so food appears dried out from sitting a long while.

I like going into Giant eagle because of the amount of prepared meals that you can get there. I really like their sushi. For general groceries they usually have everything that I need this particular day they missed a couple but for the most part that the stuff is there. The only thing I ever ever have a problem with in here is the amount of time it takes to check out the lines are always very long.

They are understaffed, waited 15 minutes for someone to help me getting a cake from the bakery. And 15 minutes waiting in line to checkout!

Giant eagle is your One stop shop for fine foods wines and spirits, you're going to pay a little more, but this is not unreasonable considering what you get in return.
