Paczki time! Mango one was the bomb! Tried a whole wheat donut. Pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Perfect mix of cinnamon and other spices! Worth a drive.

Their buckeyes are absolutely fantastic! Also, we're very impressed with the owner. The buckeyes are one of my husband's favorite desserts, so when I ordered them for his birthday and they arrived melted, Lorna immediately sent another batch with a birthday card. Will certainly be ordering again! Thank you Lorna!

This bakery has the best apple fritters and cookies I've ever had! The staff is friendly and the store is clean. 10/10 would recommend!

Inside has a few non-food-type items (shampoo, toothpaste, etc.). Was going to give this a three but the friendly and helpful staff bumped it to a four. The sweets I had were average. They seemed like what you'd get from a Walmart rather than a local freshly made bakery.

Fantastic throwback to better days. Wonderful food and just nostalgic items and service. Kind people. Went through there because I heard about it from a podcast. I am so glad they persevered in the lawsuit against Oberlin, they were lynched by Meredith Raimondo and other woke idiots for doing nothing wrong. Patronize these wonderful people. Until next time.

Best Bakery in the world. So happy with the family that owns this cute bakery they are so sweet. And the brownies are to die for. Too bad crazy students from local colleges try to rob, harass, and unsuccessfully destroy their beautiful business. I will be coming back next spring to support them again

As a current student at Oberlin, I am deeply disappointed in the actions of the administration and just want to say that many students I know also support Gibson's and are pleased with the outcome. Now, as for my visit a few weeks back, I have mostly positive feedback but also a little bit of a grievance. The food was phenomenal. I do not remember having better donuts and pastries. The produce was a tad bit pricey but it's nothing egregious. Overall highly recommended for anyone. My complaint comes to the somewhat cold shoulder I felt I was getting from the employees. I went in to get some products and I immediately felt as if I was being judged simply for being a student of the college. I felt just a bit uncomfortable but I didn't mind it too much. I tried to be friendly but was kind of ignored. Now I'm not trying to be soft or something like that but I did feel a sense of prejudice against me for simply being an Oberlin student. Idk maybe that's just a false perception, and I hope that my future visits will help heal that.

We stopped in on a recommendation because Hubby wanted some fresh brewed coffee and I wanted some bakery. They have a little bit of everything there, including really good ice cream. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We sat at a table outside and really enjoyed our visit.

Here is a very clear example of common thieves being treated as victims because they were caught. The college chose to attack the bakery owner for catching and reporting the thieves. It shows how twisted the thinking? Is among administrators and faculty at Oberlin. A very bad play by Oberlin.

Update: Sept '22. Happy to see that justice was finally done. The bakery's legal fees were staggering. Good to see that the college had to pay up.
Finally some justice for Gibson Bakery. Oberlin college found liable for defamation. Injuring this local family business. President of the college trying to dance away from their responsibility. Hiding behind free speech allegation. The college not willing to acknowledge their wrong doing. In spite of the shoplifters admitting their crime. Leadership at Oberlin is lacking integrity.

Gibson's continues to be an excellent bakery & small grocery. Always look forward to shopping here on trips to Cleveland.
