I've been going to this place since I was a little kid. I'm 24 now and have never left disappointed! Each barber is friendly and professional and great at their craft. There's no place I'd rather go.

I always come here for a haircut when I can. They take their time, are very professional and consistent with their haircuts!

I tried Gil's out yesterday for the first time. It was less than half the cost of some of the other places in the area, the staff was friendly, and Dennis gave one of the best haircuts I ever had. If you are after an excellent and affordable haircut this is the place to go.

The barber I had since my first haircut retired a few years ago. Since then I've been walking the Earth like David Carradine in the TV show kung fu. Until the day I walked in to Gil's barber shop. And now I no longer have to be on a quest for my new Barber. They do a great job and there's always three guys there to cut your hair. They also still use straight razor and warm shaving cream which is so relaxing.

Went here for the first time last week after my barber passed away. I have to say that I'm very pleased with the haircut, the atmosphere, and the kindness of all barbers present. Definitely my new favorite spot. Just remembered to bring cash, at least $25. The base haircut price is $18, and you'll be happy enough you'll tip well.

Gil's is a great place to get a haircut. They have never done me wrong. Prices are a little steep ($18 for mens, $16 for boys), but it's always a nice haircut. This is an old school style barbershop, nothing fancy at all. That's what I like. The barbers are friendly and do their craft well. It's getting harder to find friendly neighborhood corner barbershops. Gil's is the epitome of the neighborhood shop.

This is a proper barber shop. Friendly barbers, and every cut ends with a hot lather neck shave. Great place!

One of the best barbershops in cincy. All the guys are awesome! David and Chris are my personal two favorites. They are all really nice and always happy with my hair cut. They are mostly traditional but they will do almost anything you ask. Always good service and always a friendly conversation. Plus you can't beat the price.

Great barbers! Been going since I was knee high to a grasshopper, and this location is their best. Friendly and affordable.

What can I say? Cordial greetings. LOW WAIT TIMES. Friendly environment and staff. If you have the means to, take a trip to Pleasant Ridge. While I can appriciate a younger generation focusing and honing their skills, perhaps they can take a note from these boys. My guy (George) has been doing hair for 44 years! Not to mention, they cater to requests by the customer without complaint. Cheers. Stay crispy public.

Gil's is a great old time Barbershop. You'll stop in talk the guys and get a good hair cut. I love that they finish up with a hot lather neck shave. Always worth the wait. No fuss, just haircuts.
