Giovanni's, Fairborn OH

Let's start out by saying that I have been a customer of Giovanni's for 10 years and it hurts me to have to write this review, but it was so bad, that I must. I ordered a hamburger, onion and black olive 13-inch pizza with extra cheese for take-out. They did not have any Italian sausage and it was the noon game of the Ohio st.vs. Michigan. I picked up the pizza and the to-go box was light as a feather. I got home and lifted the lid and there was nothing on this pizza and the crust could not have been thinner. The outer edge had an inch all the way around it with nothing on it. I tasted no pizza sauce. This was the worst pizza I have ever paid money for. I paid $25 for this pie. I can assure you that this restaurant, like so many others post COVID, strategy is to put as little on the pizza as they can to maximize profits. I will never go back. This is sad because Giovanni's was one of the last mom&pop Italian restaurant's left.

Was out in #Fairborn area, so I decided to stop in #giovannispizza - 1st time checking this place out and the pizza was FANTASTIC

Their pizza's are thin crust, the crust is light and crispy, with a breadcrumb bottom, I ordered a large ground hamburger & pepperoni again this was AMAZING, I also tried a small pepperoni & personal size margarita pizza. Everything came out hot and fresh, and everything tasted really good. They been serving food for over 70yrs & still going strong.

Words cannot describe the experience. I would gladly adopt adult children just for the chance to take them here! Superb Food.

Update: . Six years after initial comments- My wife and I drove up again from Cincinnati just for the pizza. Uniquely delicious and quality superb! All that is why we will continue to visit as often as we can.

Growing up here makes it special to STILL have a Family business operating with Love and Community.

Ate at Giovanni’s for dinner last night. We are celebrating our anniversary with a quick trip antiquing and was hungry after the road-trip. The pizza was very tasty. Think crunchy crust with a perfect ratio of sauce to toppings. I genuinely like this place. Service was outstanding and very quick with the pizza despite the large groups in the house!

We've ordered pizza from Giovanni's several times and are always very pleased with it.

My favorite thing about their pizza is the crust. My wife loves their sauce. Regardless, the pizza is always delicious!

The service has always been great. The staff are quick and very friendly every time, we'd recommend Giovanni's to anyone looking for good food and friendly service.

I can't speak to the atmosphere as we've always ordered it to go.

We love going to Giovanni's. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. Food is very good and affordablely priced. We like to Support local family owned businesses.

Worst meal I've ever had from there. Chicken fettuccine Alfredo, but barely any Alfredo. No bread with the dinner portion meal.

So when I got home with the food, I was disappointed.burnt pizza, An hour wait for what I hoped would be a good pizza. Idk if I will order again from here.

We haven't been here for the last few years, the food is still excellent, their pizza crust is thin and crispy now but still good. They now have a shrimp corn chowder now and it was great. The house garlic salad dressing is still the bomb! The service is still excellent even though I didn't recognize most of the wait staff. We will be going back soon.

Ate here for first time. Was busy but didn't wait long to be seated. Service was good, if a bit robotic, and efficient. My alfredo chicken pizza looked and tasted great and the Sangria Flight was super delicious. The atmosphere was okay, but not as cozy or intimate as Villaggio's in Lebanon. The walls could certainly use a cleaning or updating. Only bad part for me was the garlic salad dressing. Tried to go outside my comfort zone, but that's one I won't try again.

We ordered lasagna to take out and it did not disappoint. I always save half of my pasta dinners for the next day. Portions are great. Check to make sure your salads and breads are packed. They do get forgetful.

Cute little Italian place. Food was a little pricy compared to other places we have visited but the staff were friendly and accommodating.

We placed a large carry out order for a birthday party. The order was ready right on time. The pizzas were baked to perfection, the Parmesan wings were delicious and the cheesy garlic bread was the perfect addition to the meal. The staff was very helpful and so courteous. Thank you.
