Glass Bowl Stadium reviews
15I have attended games here in the past. My son and his girlfriend both attended Toledo. We went to few games during that time. We sat in the regular seats and is clean and a lot of fun. Recently I was invited the sit in a suite with a company that my company does business with. It was a great experience! They had a buffet and the food was great. Of course the seats were great and we stayed warm as it was snowing during the game. It was a great way to see a game. My wife who is not football fan had a great time also. I would recommend anyone to go watch a game in the glass bowl.
They have no honor, respect or concern for their make a wish children that are melanated. They have false advertisment for the make a wish commitment.
Good job BGSU
The UT band was silenced by the fireworks
Had a great time
Very clean sstadium
Beautiful Stadium! Completed in 1937 at a cost of $313,558 as a Works Progress Administration project. Originally the natural seating bowl held 8,000 in two sideline grandstands. There was a grass hill at the south end of the stadium, and at the open (north) end of the bowl were two stone towers (still standing), that served as makeshift housing for the football team in its early years. Following World War II, the stadium was renovated, with many glass elements. Because of this, and the city's concentration on the industry.
The largest crowd in Glass Bowl history for a University of Toledo football game was 36,852 for a game against the United States Naval Academy on October 27,2001.
Nice stadium. Not a lot of parking and you should pay for parking on line. So arrive early for any event
I fix their cleaning equipment and they spare no expense keeping this stadium and building clean and safe as can be
Would like to see them bring Ohio State to Toledo to play Toledo in toledo. But that's not going to happen because we don't have enough capacity for the amount of money that they need in the big 10. But would like to see the Big 10 given and allow the Ohio State to come to play in toledo.
The glass bowl stadium is a heart of the University of Toledo. It host many games with different teams in the nation. Moreover, it is a great and famous place for organizing outdoor Graduation ceremonies. Loved to watch matches between Toledo and bowling green teams. A great and beautiful stadium.
Smashdawgz Food Truck had fun serving Gourmet Hotdawgz at the Glass City Marathon with PNC Bank!
Very nice College Tol-Edo it fits its name, friendly people from all around watching their off spring play football or playing in the band/Cheer leaders cheering on the Rockets.
Nice, clean, good seating, large boards, tap beer. Concessions aren't great- got soft pretzel & nachos. Cheese and pretzel both cold as ice, gave me about 5pcs of jalapeno for entire nacho tray
The Glass Bowl is one of the nicer Mid American Conference stadiums with great view from any seat, affordable pricing with discounted tickets for kids at every seating level. The aesthetic has a rocky castle vibe with turret towers and a cannon emplacement that fires after every Toledo Rockets touchdown. The food options are ok. You'll get standard fair of hot dogs, brats, burgers, and Dominos pizza. Deets BBQ truck was on site for this particular game as well as a draft beer truck. They offer snacks like Toft's Ice Cream Pints, popcorn, hot pretzels, gummie bears, cheese and caramel corn, candied almonds, and chocolate covered pretzels. The prices are reasonable compared other entertainment venues. The stadium offers a 50/50 raffle that supports clubs and organizations on campus. One thing I really appreciated was that parking is free in designated lots and I had plenty of parking to choose from in my preferred lot. The tailgating is strong, particularly in the season ticket holder lots.
COVID note: Masks are encouraged but not required in the stadium.
Photo note: . This photo was taken from section 24 Row A.
The stadium itself is beautiful, and staff are very friendly. However, I couldn't believe a bottle of water was $3.50! Also, the hot dog was barely warm and the bun was ice cold. I asked for a cup so that I could get a drink of water out of the fountain safely, and I couldn't even get a small cup.
There's never a long line for the restrooms. Concession lines move pretty quickly and the entrance to the stadium lines move very fast so waiting is always minimum.
