Joe was super helpful and got my pool back up and going. The service was speedy and everything was handled within a days time. I will be using GLI for all my other pool needs.

They don’t stand by their product. I have a pool reel system from them, the screws always come off and the straps deteriorated and ripped. I reached out to them only to receive an excuse that they don’t serve Canada. Well i bought the product in Canada. Stay away.

Warranty process is a pain, long way to walk, at the end they never solve the problem, always blamed others.

My pool technician just installed my new GLI pool Liner, I have the blue flagstone. It looks like there are skidmarks about a foot above each seam. Appears to be a defect in the print pattern. I contacted GLI about the issue and they claim not to see anything wrong even after sending clear pictures of the liner. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau as well. DO NOT BUY A LINER FROM THEM. They do not stand by their products!

Have been using GLI for 5 years with 0 issues until this year. 3 liners in a row liner over steps complete garbage that looks like Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles put the liners together. We are out nearly 15k floating around in GLI land waiting for them to hire someone who can use the machines that makes the liners. DO NOT take a chance. They will send a rep out that takes measurements that total contradict the measurements that you have taken several times and are 100% positive to be accurate even with pictures to prove it. Anything they can to not reimburse you for their incompetence. We work entirely too hard to build the solid reputation we have with our customers for GLI to ruin it at our expense. Will NEVER use them again. Hope this helps take the guess work out of which manufacturer not to use.

My liner was installed the first week of May 2020. At the end of season 2021 the liner developed two wrinkles in the liner. During the season of 2022 the liner had over 20 wrinkles throughout the bottom of the pool, I have a sports pool, shallow on the ends and deeper in the middle. The line was a custom design liner, and the gold warranty plan 3-year liner installation defect was purchased. I have had an inground pool for 21 years with an Aqua rite Hayward Salt Chlorination system the entire time. My first liner lasted 18 years with no issues, the only reason we purchased a new liner was the fact that my original liner was faded, it had no wrinkles or leaks. After multiple discussions on the phone my installer was directed to send pictures via email to the warranty department. Matt L from GLI customer service responded with an email on January 23,2023 at 4: 59 pm EST stating that the reason for the wrinkles in the liner was due to a chemical imbalance in the pool specifically sanitizer (Chlorine or Bromine). First, I have used a chlorinator for 21 years which controls the amount of chlorine produced, second this did not happen the first 18 years. After letting my installer try to rectify the issue, I contacted GLI myself and was met head on by some very rude customer service representatives, specifically Matt and Mary. They said since I was disputing the manufacturing of the liner due to the entire bottom of my pool having wrinkles that I would need to cut out a section of my liner and ship it to the facility to be analyzed. This is unacceptable for multiple reasons, one I would have a liner less pool while waiting for the company to conduct an inhouse analysis of the liner, two I have found multiple reviews on line with the same issue, the answer to each warranty question is a chemical imbalance and that it is the users fault. GLI is a subsidiary of Latham Pools. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT! I just got my response back from the BBB and GLI did not respond and are not registered with the BBB. So I reiterate my statement again, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, and THEY DO NOT BACK THEIR PRODUCT!

Brand new pool "safety cover" has two areas of damage already. No change in the surrounding environment but the previous cover lasted 20 years! Warranty is useless, and I quote " it is covered by a warranty not a guarantee". In other words, they DO NOT GUARANTEE THE PERFORMANCE OF THEIR PRODUCT. Please think twice before you spend one cent with these folks. Please shop around. Please read all of the bad reviews.

This company is by far the worst to deal with. They are the true meaning of key board warriors. They won’t return or take phone calls. They claim every warranty issue as chemical related. The tanning deck on this pool was faded by the sun and was only two years old. They claim is was by chemical imbalance in the water. However, I have a pair deck chairs that sit in the water. Crazy enough where the chairs sit, the liner did not fade. Apparently the chemical that caused this problem stopped when they reached the chairs. I would steer clear of this company and their products completely. Class action lawsuit against them needs to happen.

Very unprofessional and discriminatory work environment and Italian darn near impossible to make a complaint because the human resources people never answer and if they do they try they hardest to dismiss your concerns and protect they're own such as managers and people in power

Hello
I am writing to you about the response you sent concerning my warranty claim on my pool liner.
I will not accept your excuse for your defective product. Apparently by the many pictures you e-mailed to me there are many other customers with the same complaint. This proves to me that you have a defective product and we are not alone. How else would you have all the pictures.
I have been an in ground pool owner for over 20 years! I know how to balance my pool chemicals! To tell me I don’t know how, is an insult to me and the other customers you have denied because of your faulty product. You are basically telling me that your pool liner can only handle just water and cannot handle typical pool chemicals!
My first liner lasted over 20 years without a problem. We only replaced it because it was fading. What a mistake we made by replacing it with your faulty product! Your liner started to deteriorate and fade after 1 season as shown by the pictures I sent you. I am expecting some kind of compensation for your defective product!
I copy of this e-mail will be placed on your reviews and sent to In-The-Swim the company we purchased your defective liner from.
It is so sad that you give lame excuses and try to blame the customers, instead of admitting to yourselves that you have a defective product!
I hope to hear back from you soon with a better response to our claim.
Sincerely,
Terri Layton
