Golden Corral Buffet & Grill, Sandusky OH

Absolutely horrible experience. Staff was friendly however the food was not. I was physically ill before making it home and throwing up all night.

Great manager who appears to no longer be there. Was recent visit on 11/6 with my son was disappointing. I was sick after the visit. No juice machine, no ice cream apparently the machines were cleaned the night before and no one is knew how to operate them. They filled in the ice cream machine by and moved it by out for customers with Bob warm liquid IV ice cream inside.items on the hot bar weren't hot. The bacon was by the grill and watched over like it was gold. BRIING THE MANAGER BACK!

Food was hoppy, fresh and good. Server wasn't very attentive. Barely got drinks. Would definitely recommend for the variety and price. Very clean. Nice set up. Not overly busy. Good eat for the $!

This is a reluctant 3 stars, their saving grace being their cleanliness and friendliness. Quality of the food very subpar & end of the meal thought to myself well at least I get an ice cream.no the levers were missing from the machine, an employee went to get them, but, took so long we just left. Just a suggestion I'd gladly pay a another five bucks for higher quality food. However, I know running a buffet is what it is & boy do I miss the good old days of Country Buffet!

First time at a Golden Coral! Great for young kids. Everything wasnt great, but everything was good. Great for a vacation stop with young kids and a budget.

I've been to many locations in different states, but this was was the absolute best. This one is worth the drive. Whoever is cooking the food is awesome. They took a major chain where sometimes the food is bland and improved on everything. I ate food but I tasted love. The service was great too.

I loved it here at this location. So many options of food to choose from we had an amazing waitress. Best golden corral I've been too and I've been to a few in different states. Definitely come check this one out. Won't regret it

Well done visit. We dropped in with 20+ people for breakfast. Plenty of fresh food on the buffet, and Sonya was awesome!

My experience was okay except for while I was at the buffet I accidently got some of the stuffing in the yams and a man working behind the buffet started to tell me how nasty I was and I told him I didn't do it on purpose he the pulled down his mask and let me know how ridiculous I was and exclaimed how disgusting ppl are. I am sorry that the poor waitress had to be collateral damage in this incident. I gave her only 15% tip instead of 20%. Based on the experience in whole even though it wasn't her fault.

I can't rate this place all the food WAS COLD and so was the employee's my 80 year old mother asked for more fish and they just walked away 20 minutes later the fish came out O IT WAS COLD so NEVER again will we be going there

I love their salad bar. The fried chicken is delicious. I can't think of anywhere with better bone-in fried chicken. Bar is always clean, and I even saw them checking food temperature with a thermometer. Good job guys.

1st buffet we've been to since Covid.
Demi greeted us pleasantly/cashier and the pricing was affordable. $6.99 for each 10 yr old (drink included) and only $12.49 for me (drank water)
Amaree was our friendly server and got our drinks quickly and kept our table free from dirty/used plates! I think her name was Brianna, in desserts, so sweet - made the 2 grandkids cotton candy:)
Food was good, warm, and available/full.
No complaints.

Love this place! Everything was very fresh compared to shelby township one. Friendly staff. Willing to come back in the near future.

Excellent experience, restaurant is bright spacious very clean, very inviting. Highly recommend. Met the manager and owner, they take pride in their establishment

Our waitress, April, was literally the only polite employee that we dealt with, other than a short interaction with the manager at the meat Station.

Food was ok. Our waitress April was awesome. Rest of staff including hostess and people behind food line were extremely rude.

The buffet bar was filthy there was food laying everywhere have to containers were empty and staff was standing around talking to each other I'm done

This was the best golden corral I've ever been to. It was bright and clean, the food was really good not over done, mushy or dry and our waitress Lori was the best!

I specifically drive from Michigan all the way to this location to eat here. Okay so it's not specifically to go to Golden I also hit Cedar Point while I'm in the area, but it's actually pretty often! You guys are absolutely amazing. The place is always spic and span! The crew is absolutely wonderful! I'm going to keep coming back. I refuse to ever hit a Golden Corral around me ever again. If I attached pictures you guys would understand why.

I've been to Golden Corral restaurants all over the country, and this is absolutely the cleanest and nicest and best food of any I've been to. Great, friendly service, and this is a real review and not some family member, LOL! Check them out sometime ️
