Golden Donuts & Diner, Columbus OH

These ladies in here are so wonderful and kind to everyone like family. They go above and beyond for every customer.

I try to stop every morning for a couple doughnuts. I like their maple long johns & apple fritters.

The people are very friendly lol, it's a dinner yah! But the food is good but like the doughnuts alot!

There were no donuts to choose from. Those in the case were dried out and looked like they had been there to long. Coffee was hot.

Love this place to get my breakfast sandwich about two or three times per week bacon, egg and cheese on Texas toast.

The album covers that were on the wall, from the platters, to the four tops, to Adam ant, it was amazing

I really liked the atmosphere here, but I think they need to do something to make the surroundings pop. Everything is so old and faded. Shame.
I got the patty melt. You know that mystery meat they served you in school? That's what you get here. I could not stomach it so I got tomato grilled cheese instead and sent back the burger. I don't know how but they messed that up too. See the photos.
And, finally, the waitress was really sweet and kind but I just could not understand her. I don't think she speaks much English, poor thing.
I won't be back. I wish them a better chef and higher quality inventory.

My friends and I were teleport at to this land of Ohio. We wandered the streets until we saw the Golden Donuts and Diner. By the time we sat down Katrice had already gleaned our drink order. We sat and within seconds the order was placed and the army of staff militantly in step delivered our drinks. Within a reasonable amount of time our banquet had begun. It was full of flavor and hit the spot. We will now take a nap before starting our day but thank you Katrice.

I grew up with my grandmother coming to this establishment all the time. The fact that business around this place have come and gone and they are still there is legendary. The service is outstanding. The menu is sublime. Especially the apple fritter french toast. It's cozy for a couple. Great for kids. Has everything even Asian food. I will always keep coming back.

THE HIBACHI DISH IS GREAT. COOKED ON THE EXACT POINT, EXCELENT FLAVOR AND A REALLY NICE SERVICE.
AND. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THEIR RECORD COLLECTION ON THE WALLS. IT'S AMAZING!

Good old fashioned diner serving some deliciousness for either breakfast or lunch. I had the double cheeseburger with bacon, cheeseburger, fries, cinnamon rolls, their breakfast sandwich (BEC), coffee, and their chili. I have not been disappointed. You may order the meat your style. For me, preferably medium well. The burger is massive and it’s taste deliciously impactful. If you dine in, you will listen to some nice tunes from specific eras and genres. You may dine in and or order take out. Prices are decent. Staff is amazing. Parking in front of the restaurant. Excellent prices!

Donuts small time diner and hibachi all in one place I was nervous trying it but so worth it. Absolutely delicious and the server was so nice. And their coffee is actually delicious too.

Not what I expected but the food was not prepared the way I was accustomed to. I had to send it back. This place could use a makeover

The server was great. The steak was not good. I told my husband that it was so tiring just trying to chew it Atmosphere was comfortable but the music was a little loud.
