Golden Jersey Inn / Young's Event Center reviews
20Highly disappointed in the lunch. Ordered grilled cheese and fries. Grilled cheese was cold and the fries weren't even cooked all the way! Because of the line, wasn't worth quibbling about it.
I found out that apparently on some days they're doing free vaccines here. Went in on a Saturday at noon got vaccinated got out. They even give you a free scoop of ice cream for getting vaccinated. Thank you for the public service.
This place is great, the food is good, lots this to do for the whole family. The only complaint is the smell of cow dung, but what can you do. Over all the place is fun for the whole family, definitely a must see if your in the area and have a couple hours of free time.
The bread and apple sauce and slaw is awesome, but the rest of the dinner menu was very bland. Maybe a new menu would freshen things up? Still love the curds! Never get rid of the curds.
Wonderful food good service I wish it was closer to home. It takes 10 hours for me to get here. They're sweet potato bread with cinnamon butter on it is a dessert in itself!
Food is always great but the cook time took a little longer then normal this visit but it's always worth the wait and the best milkshake in Ohio
The Golden Jersey is a consistent experience with courteous staff and a great menu. The fare is basic, tasty, and portioned properly. If you like, there are outdoor activities for the kids (and adults). Did I mention the DAIRY? Ice Cream! Miniature golf, real golf, fall activities, a sort of farm machinery exhibit, and the Inn caters. Go!
Good day activities for the family. The food is awesome at both restaurants to boot. Don't forget about the many ice cream selections available for dessert! With Clifton Gorge close by and Yellowsprings down the street, your day is complete.
Yummy everything. Go for lunch. Go for dinner. Go for dessert. All good, and did I mention the activities?
It's a fine place. Not much more to say. The food is alright. Service is fine. Pancakes are good but nothing spectacular. It's just a good place to meet up with some family.
We love this farm and go every time we are in the area. Restaurant is great. Salads are even better with cheese curds!
Our family has come here for years and loved it. Awesome cheese and some thing for the whole family. Last visit a person in our group had special menu needs and them were great.
Mini- golf, batting cages, good food and fine ice cream. Plus the cutest goats and Jersey cows. Great, sweet family time!
Excellent country cooking. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! Definitely stop by!
My husband and I had a great dinner here! The wait was a little long, but there was plenty of room to sit and hang out while we waited. Food was amazing and prices were fair! We will be back!
Every time we go to Young's Jersey Dairy we have to stop and have dinner at Golden Jersey Inn. Even if you are not spending any time at the Dairy itself, this is also a great place to stop and have a good home cooked meal. Reminds me of the dinners I use to have at Grandma's house. There is something for everyone on the menu. And the homemade apple sauce is just amazing.
This place is great. Right next to the Youngs dairy. Amazing food, it was very fast getting to us too. The staff were very friendly, and the wait times were short. While you're waiting you can visit the dairy until they call you for your table.
A lot of people love this place but I just don't think it's all that. The food is average. The service is good. The ambiance is country/farming. The prices are decent.
My friend and his mom dad wife and his three children had dinner there and we had everything from breakfast to a hot shot, chicken and dumplings, breaded pork tenderloin and a burger and they were all fantastic. Service was perfect food was hot and everything was was spot on. And this opinion is from a former chef and restaurant owner for 35 years. I will be back.
