Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio reviews
10Goodwill - you need to rethink your pricing. Clearly, a management decision was made to increase the pricing, and it's no longer 'Goodwill pricing'. Please save your time and don't respond by telling me to watch so-and-so's story. Just rethink your pricing, and maybe more shoppers will come back. Oh - and keep an eye on the lines, and call more people to the registers.
I am a frequent Goodwill and thrift store shopper in Stark and surrounding counties.
I collect vintage glassware items. The prices in this store are laughable! So far out of alignment with other locations you would have to a question if you were in a full-price retail store! A perfect example this week - a pair of peg votive candle cups priced at 50 cents in local thrift shops and $1.09 at other Goodwill locations is $4.59 at this Goodwill!
A single Libbey Tumbler priced at 25 cents in local thrift shops and $0.49 in other nearby Goodwill locations is $2.29 here. Matter fact - almost every single piece of glassware I picked up was priced at $2.29 today! I'm thinking this store accidentally printed too many $2.29 labels and just decided to randomly stick them on every piece of glassware regardless of the illogical pricing.
I left with an empty cart! I will shop elsewhere and pay between a quarter and 49 cents for the same/similar pieces. If you are shopping this Goodwill - do yourself a favor and head on down the road to Canal Fulton, Atlantic Blvd, Alliance, North Canton, Hartville Thrift.anywhere but this location!
Goodwill was a good store until you started over charging people for items you get for free I use to Donate a lot of items but won't be doing any more Donating there. Then you ask people to Round up. You make enough money on overpriced items. I think you need to do some research and your pricing alot of item could be Purchased at a store for cheaper.
I used to love to go to Goodwill for work clothes. Now their prices have gotten ridiculously high. Won't return.
This place is more expensive then a real store I went their and bout these lights for $5.95 I got home and took them out of the bag and was checking them out I see a price tag on it from Marks with a price for $1.99.
This is what really makes me sick the stuff was donated and the priced for making money but yet the put that price 5 times more then the real store is selling them for. Then they ask will you will you round it off for donations.
Neat store and great items but prices are way too high. The price stickers are terrible and ruin items. Rewards program is stingy. The Summit county Goodwills are much better priced and give way more perks
Your prices are about the same price as Walmart your are supposed to be cheaper. What a rip off.
This is my favorite Goodwill. I can find Loft, Banana Republic, Talbot's, White House Black Market every time I shop.
Kinda disappointed, it seems goodwill has raised their prices.i dont walk out feeling good about my purchases anymore.its all free to them.an i feel like their gouging their consumer, its all secondhand remember
Pretty OK as Goodwill's go. Usually has good toy and book selection. Never go to this one on a Saturday, it gets way overcrowded and you can't even get anywhere.
