Gordon Food Service Store, Cincinnati OH

The guy who comes to try and get you to buy there food is very rude. We were interested in seeing what they had to offer until he showed at our home with being invited to try and get some papers signed. Were done!

I always buy the big bottle with the pump of french vanilla creamer there. I like that I can leave it sit out on the counter.

The prices are great and the workers are always clean and very knowledgeable when it comes to products and their location within the store.

I love shopping here. If they don't have what I need they order it and have it the next day. If you cook for groups this is the place to buy your food, paper products, serving utensils, cooking pans, chafers - everything you need in one place!

You do not need to have a membership to shop at GFS They have a good selection of items comparable in prices at Sam's and Costco. Well worth the trip to check GFS out.

I was looking for a local business that carried butcher paper and GFS saved the day. It did come in a big roll that will last me forever. It's just what I needed to wrap venison. The have a great assortment of many different items. I have bought assorted cheesecake there many times, it's always a hit with friends and family

Great prices, and selection without charging a membership fee. Great resource for party planning, and some tasty items available in sizes for a crowd. Their chilled and frozen cookie dough is delicious and a great time saver.

I have 34 years experience in food service. I have supported this store since the day they opened. Even though they are more expensive then other companies, they have always been clean and close by. After years of shopping there for wedding, booster events, business, festivables.ect. I was turned down today when I asked cashier Colleen for some boxes as we are cleaning up my brother's place from the spring flood. She said I could have two. The bins were overflowing so I was upset. I Asked to see a manager. Curt came out. I explained and he to him and he too turned me down. I feel this is an insult to my loyalties and the thousands and thousands that I have spent here over the years.

Staff is great and knowledgeable about the products they sell. And they try to remember there regular customers. I will continue to shop at Gordon Food Service in Western hills.

I am giving them a 3 only because the store manager himself had to do some meat slicing for me, he was polite and friendly as he has always been in the past. That being said, I am a business customer who has done business with GFS for over 13 years at this same location. When I reached the check out line the young lady who waited on me was unable to make me feel like my business mattered. There were a couple of things, however the most disturbing was her response when I enquired about a possible box or a bag for my purchases. Her response was "Well you can just get what we got! " At first I was flabbergasted, then I proceeded to look in the box bin not 2 feet from her, found a box, to box up my purchases. It rubbed me the wrong way, especially since I have never seen her in this location before. I also have business account with Resteraunt Depot, at least there I already know there are no bags or boxes!

Great place, clean, friendly. Lots of good food selection. Great if you need bulk snacks! Lots of food you do Not have to buy in bulk, too. Fantastic prices, too
